Donated dog food. Our dog Lilly we got her from here about 4yrs ago. We had to put her down on Monday the 22nd, she had cancer and wasn't doing well. She's in dog heaven. Thank you to everyone AT CAPS, she was the BEST DOG, WE WILL MISS HER.

Well kept animals. Most are left behind from military families that can't take them along and we're treated well.

This is a beautifully kept facility! If only ALL animal rescues and shelters could operate under the same high standards as C.A.P.S (Churchill Animal Protection Society) does, well, this world would be a far more humane and decent place.Their director Julia, is clearly a genuine animal lover and animal caregiver. It is apparent that the facility is being run under optimal leadership. They do offer both cat and dog adoptions. If you adopt your next pet from them you will be bringing a healthy and well adapted new addition into your home. As all of the animals there are cared for in every aspect of their needs; this included receiving clinical/ medical care when needed and neuter or spay. This rescue shelter is one that is an ideal and worthy place (Animal Nonprofit) to give your time, your money and/ or pet food and supplies to. They could really benefit from your donations.

CAPS has an amazing staff, and an equally amazing mission. The only thing that would make them better is funding for better facilities (which i hear us in the works). Our family adopted Indy recently, and the process was smooth and painless. Not having a dog for nearly 20 years, we had a lot of questions and the staff was more than happy to educate us and help us out in any way.If your ready to add another member to your family, go check them out! You wont regret it.

Wonderful staff who care greatly about their job and most importantly, their animals. I chose to adopt 2 beautiful and loving pups (I couldn’t break them up as they’re sisters and very close). Upon signing paperwork they informed me of all of the necessary vaccines needed over the next several months in which they pay for as well as getting the two females spayed. They supplied us with harnesses, food, toys and leashes as well as a phone number to call at anytime, day or night if we had any concerns. I truly appreciate CAPS, thank you guys!

I volunteered at caps for about nine months while living in Fallon. I’ve never seen a shelter more dedicated to the animals in their care. Everybody there is so welcoming and just amazing with the animals. You’ll get an amazing well cared for and loved pet when adopting from this shelter.
