I Give The Staff of the Fallon, Nevada, Family Dollar Store an A+ Rating for working themselves very long and hard days to continue providing the best service and products that come to the store. The team which consists of AnneMarie, Carol, and Laurence are the only three employees that work at the store. They have been working hard to maintain store inventory and standards. Unfortunately, they are overworked because it’s difficult to keep staff because the pay is not conducive to the amount of work expected. I see this as another reason why some people don’t work and good folks are overworked. Maybe the Family Dollar Corporate Office can do more to help their employees and do better to recruit people who want to work for Family Dollar Stores. The Community depends on them!! Great job Team Fallon!!

I like Family Dollar as opposed to Dollar Tree which is now $1.25 or higher. That's a 25% decrease in buying power. Family Dollar still has items at $1.00 which saves me money. Plus the employees are clean conservative as opposed to some Dollar Tree employees.

I have to laugh, because I believe the Dollar Tree owns Family Dollar, and I found several items that were $1 or under at the Family Dollar that could also be found at the Dollar Tree (sold there for $1.25)! We bought 18 plastic Easter eggs for $1.00 at the Family Dollar, which is 25% cheaper than they are at the Dollar Store! They also had cotton balls, cotton swabs, and several other things that were $1 or less. They may be cheaper on many of the same items sold at the Dollar Store, but I found them more expensive on other name brand items, than what I would pay elsewhere.

Called in and asked about stock of a very specific food after both Walmart and Safeway sold out. Was told clearly that it was in stock. I show up no more than 20 minutes later and not only is in not in stock, they don’t even carry it! Wow. 30 seconds to check their stock (it would’ve been in a section literally 15 feet from the registers) would’ve saved me the trip.
