“Billie Jean, who looked after the breakfast area, was absolutely amazing. She couldn't do enough to make sure we were well fed and looked after throughout our stay. Her friendly attitude, attentiveness, and excellent service made every breakfast a pleasure. She is a real credit to the hotel, and we truly appreciated everything she did for us.”

“The older I get the more picky I am about where I stay... But also I hate paying an arm and a leg for somewhere I'm just staying for one night. We needed a place to stay one night passing through and this place hit all the boxes. Its not the most fancy place but the things I care most about are if it's clean and the decency of the beds. This motel was very very clean and the bed was actually super comfortable! Just the perfect amount of firm and soft. And bonus- it didn't break the bank!”

“We camped overnight in the campground next to the casino. Most of the campers are long-term residents but well kept. And at $24 a night, you can't beat the price for full hookups. The restaurant in the casino was excellent and a good value, and the restrooms were spotless. A great overnight stay.”
“Stayed here after staying one night at another hotel which was a disaster. I am very satisfied with the rooms and how clean they are. Not sure if room service is supposed to change the bed’s sheets, but mine weren’t though they did organize it well and I appreciate it. Bathroom is clean, good tv and all amenities were good.
I am impressed at the level of professional with the staff. During my time here, I was assisted by 3-4 different front desk receptionist, and they all helped me without a second thought. Makes this hotel stand out and will be my preferred stay when i am in town.

“Despite the details on Google Maps and the signage on the building and out on the US-50/elsewhere, THIS specific Overland no longer operates as a hotel or restaurant. It is a historic/storied venue operating solely as a bar currently. So come here for a drink and novelty in a smoking bar, but do NOT expect food or lodging. They do not currently have access to their profiles on google or elsewhere to make changes.”
