This is a very late thank you! Around 10years ago, My husband and I were visiting our son in Fallon. The morning we left to head home to Montana our Dodge pickup transmission quit not far from our sons home. We limped back to his house and found your business. I have never been to a shop that is this accommodating. They stopped what they were doing and helped me right away. They usually have a long lead time for an appointment, but I got lucky. They do it all and are very friendly. Go here first!

R&W is a darn good garage! Had to make an appointment and wait a little over a month, but in my opinion- that means a lot of people trust them. So, not a problem for me.Great experience- got multiple calls throughout the day with status updates/ things they found on my ‘97 Ram 3500. End of day, gave me a price- very fair- went and paid- picked up my truck that evening.Would definitely recommend- I know they’ll be my transmission garage from here on out!!Service: Transmission

They seem to be a knowledgeable and capable shop. They fixed what I asked them to and pointed out a couple of other legitimate that needed to be addressed. If the need arises I would certainly use their services again.

I live and work out of Reno and need my van for work, 1000+ miles a week average. I wasn't happy with the few transmission shops in Reno I'd talked to about servicing my transmission. I have family in Fallon that highly recommended R&W. That was enough for me so I scheduled an appointment. From scheduling the appointment, to dropping it off at the overnight drop off, getting updated while the work was preformed to picking it up the next day everything went as good as I could've hoped. Transmission has 184k miles from new and I really was hoping with the service it would be a little better and that's what I was told might be the case. I've given it a few hundred miles before writing this review and I can say it's MORE than a "little better". Not like new or anything (come on, how many Chevy transmissions even last that long, right? lol). But I am pretty confident I can get by while I plan for R&W to install a reman when needed in the future. Thanks Darrel and the tech who serviced my van, a job well done
