Went in for an inspection and an alignment. They told me I had a bent strut which turned out to be true but they also said my steering rack was messed up and turned me away completely. I took it to another shop and they found no damage to the steering. Techs here definitely aren’t knowledgeable in their profession and should definitely do more training on things they aren’t knowledgeable of instead of turning people away. Stay away from fernley mechanics you’re better off going to Fallon or Reno.

I had a road emergency. I stopped before 4 pm. A yang lady with short hair was at the front desk. I just asked if they can exchange a tire. She answered in a very rude voice they close at 4pm on Friday. Well on Google listing it says 5 o'clock, also while I was pleading here for help another customer behind me was waiting in line and they receivedhelp. She just chose to show an attitude with me since I was desperatefor help. I guess she had a satisfaction from seeing me in a difficult situation.Really sorry for writing a bad review but I had to.

Had an incredible experience during a stressful time! Same story as a lot of these reviews: heading from California to Idaho, and had a tire issue on I-80. Lindsey was so welcoming and informative. Got us new tires in an hour and we were back on our way. Had our dog too, and she had the best time with Stu! Thank you to Lindsey and everyone at Purcell!

I dropped my car off to get an oil change. The oil I brought in was 0/20 and I receive a call 30 min later stating I brought in the wrong oil and that its recommended 0/16. According to what I looked up 0/16 or 0/20 is perfectly fine. Especially since even the Toyota dealership put in 0/20. So I tell them to use the 0/20 which they do. When I go to pick up my car, I get told with an attitude that there notes said I brought in 0/16 last time. Well the notes are wrong, considering that I bought 2 5 quart jugs of 0/20 at the Same time, and that's what I brought in last time. The time before that and the time before that. As I am trying to explaining this the lady straight walks away. Apparently some people always have to be right and have no customer service or interpersonal skills. Can't even listen to what I was trying to explain and basically telling me I'm wrong, when I know damn well what oil I have brought in to be used in the past. So yup, I'm the liar and don't know what I'm talking about, because the notes say something else. Couldn't have been a screw up on their end at all. Absolutely horrible and rude to just walk away from the customer as they are trying to talk to you.

These guys were awesome and went way above and beyond for us!
We blew 3 different tires in an RV on our way from Reno, when we got to Fernley it was 30 minutes before they closed and they informed us they didnt carry our tire size, but they offered to make an hour drive to go pick them up and stay after hours to get us back on the road. About 2 and a half hours later we had 7 brand new tires and were on our way.
Great service and great guys, would definitely recommend!

Super kind,friendly, helpful staff. We were on a road trip and had a flat tire. We Googled a nearby tire center and found this place which was the closest to us. They squeezed us in and got our tire problem fixed. I highly recommend this place. Thank you guys for helping us!🙏🏼❤️

We blew a tire on our camper just as we were pulling into Fernley (of course, right?), and since we’re not from the area, I called Purcell Tire hoping for some help. Melissa and Lindsay were absolutely amazing! They were so friendly, helpful, and quick to get us back on the road. The whole process was smooth and stress-free, which was such a relief during a frustrating situation. Theo even got some love and scratches while he had to wait. Huge thank you to the team at Purcell, ya’ll were awesome!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Traveling from the Bay Area headed home which is Post Falls Idaho my alternator stopped working. I told them I was traveling and they got right on it. They replaced the alternator,battery and radiator and got me going the next day. I got a good nights sleep and was on the road the next morning. Many thanks to Melisa,linzy,Bryan and Todd. I drove 13 hours straight to my front door with no issues. Car ran like a top. I highly recommend this place for repairs. Thank you again for making it easy being a customer. God Bless.

Don't go there for an alignment. They make lots of money on their inspections. You can always find something wrong with a cars front end. The inspection is about 50 bucks. So after the inspection you take your car home, put the part on it needed, take it back for the alignment. You still pay full price for the alignment and get charged the inspection fee. NO other garage charges for an insection or what Purcell call a "shake down fee" Yep you get a shake down.

I have visted this site twice within a couple weeks and I will be using this garage for all of my regular service needs.The managers give me confidence in the work that takes place there. I listen to them as they explain in detail how each service will happen and how they handle customer and employees. They are very experienced, and they care.

I'm from out of state and have been here twice for different reasons. One for a tire repair and the other for a oil change. These are the friendliest people I've done business with. My wait was accordingly and I was out in no time.I would definitely recommend for quick and friendly service . Price is reasonable
