About Holiday Inn Club Vacations David Walley's Resort, an IHG Hotel
Holiday Inn Club Vacations David Walley's Resort offers spacious suites with kitchens, ideal for families. While the rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, they show signs of wear and could use updates. Guests have noted issues with weak internet connectivity, particularly in the C building, making it difficult for work or entertainment. However, the resort features beautiful thermal pools and hot mineral spring pools that are very relaxing, especially after a day exploring the mountains or visiting the historic city of Genoa, which is about 25 minutes away. Many guests have enjoyed the food and drinks at the 1862 restaurant, which was praised as really good. The location requires a car, as there is no shuttle service, and Uber can be hard to find. The resort is beautiful and secluded from the noise and traffic of Tahoe, providing a peaceful getaway. Some rooms, like Room 2312 in the Bodie building, have experienced water pressure issues, with fluctuations and low water flow, which have been somewhat inconvenient. Overall, the resort is a friendly place with amenities like game rooms with pool tables and ping pong, making it a good choice for families and travelers seeking a relaxing holiday experience.

Had a great time, clean nice villa. Hot springs were nice. Plenty to do here. Close to Lake Tahoe and Reno.

Great location, service in the restaurant was a 4 but the food was a 3, and the rooms require some TLC. Service other than the restaurant was a 5.
