The bank manager (Shannon Russell) has always been very helpful and happy to help with a great smile. All the employees treat my wife and myself with a caring fashion. They are super helpful and always smiling. JUST CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS FOR THIS BANK.”
“This is a great small bank. It is very well staffed; I’ve had an account for three years and I have never had to wait in line, just walk right up to a teller. They have drive up teller too if that’s your thing. The manager, Malou, has always been there as well so it’s easy to get a quick answer for non standard inquiries. The staff is very protective of my money, they have always called me on the phone to confirm larger checks before they release the funds. When I call them I always get onsite staff, never a distant customer service center. El Dorado has online banking that is just as good as my other banks, simple web pages that are quick to load and easy to use. It’s my favorite bank.”
“I never thought a bank could by my happy place, but this one is! By far the best bank in Gardnerville by a long shot. Bankers are available to help with any question or transaction. They generally have the highest interest rate CDs. Employees are friendly and relaxed. Online banking is user friendly, as is phone banking. At the bank, I have never waited even five minutes for assistance. Most importantly, (and this is not the case at other nearby banks,) They are patient with older people, and seem happy to answer all my questions. They go above and beyond to help me feel secure about my financial decisions. They treat us like family. Why bank anywhere else?”
