This morning I was pulling my car out of a driveway shared by my mechanic and Christensen Collision. As I was backing out another car was pulling in. I pulled forward in to an empty parking space labeled Christensen Collision (there were three empty spaces) as to let the car pass so that I could then exit the driveway. Before thirty seconds had passed and before I could back out and be on my way, Robert, the owner of Christensen Collision, came towards my car with both hands raised at me in a threatening manner. I nicely explained that I had simply pulled In to the spot to let a car pass and even apologized to him. He had such intense anger in his eyes

never heard of debbie diamond, the car she is talking about was a 1964 ford that douglas radiator screwed up it was owned by a guy named gus. I did all the work that was contracted and was paid. gus had purchased a bunch of trim for the car but none of it fit the car so I agreed to repair all the trim and paint it black for $ 1500.00 the work was done. douglas radiator came to pick up the car and wanted this done and that done and so on. so I told them to take the car and not come back. they did not pay the $ 1500.00 ( free work ). about a year later one of thier workers comes by and wants the paint code, I said sure for $ 1500.00. WATCH OUT FOR REVIEWS, They are not always true.

Robert the owner of Christensen Collision Center in Gardnerville Nevada was paid $4,800.00 to do the paint and body work for my 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible and did not finish the work he was contracted to do. He was told to remove the tail light assemblies before painting the car because I had purchased new tail lights. He said that he couldn't get the old tail light bezels off the car he just left the old cracked tail light assemblies in place and painted the car anyway! Plus he did not align the doors or fix the dent on the rear of the car or align the fenders and that was disclosed prior to entering into the agreement on the work order. When it was brought to his attention, he claimed he couldn't get them off, and this guy owns a body shop! The tail lights were removed in 15 minutes by the mechanics at Douglas Radiator and in doing so the paint chipped off. Naturally something like this was going to happen and it did due to Robert's negligence. All around the edges of the tail lights there is chipped paint because he was lazy and didn't ask for assistance from the Douglas mechanics who sub-contracted the job to his shop. Robert was supposed to correct that problem but he claimed Douglas Radiator did the damage with chipping the paint because they removed the tail lights and reinstalled the new ones. This was supposed to be done by Robert when he painted the car in the first place. When approached by Douglas Radiator to correct the remaining issues or to give us the paint number, Robert told the messenger to "go F%$k himself" He claims there is $1,500.00 additionally owed after the $4,800.00 that was never agreed upon and no work order was ever signed to complete additional work from Douglas Radiator or myself for the remaining issues because it was from the original contract. He didn't finish the work! Then I asked him for the color number, name and manufacturer of the product that was used on the vehicle so I could have another body shop do the repair and he said for $1,500.00 he would give me the paint codes and info I needed to fix the unfinished work on the car. So now I have to repaint the entire car because he refuses to give me the paint number for the paint he used. I should be privy to that information anyway and It should be itemized on the invoice. He did not include the information and now refuses to give me the paint number unless I pay him an additional $1,500.00. He refused to enter into a sole agreement to come to terms with me in fixing the remaining issues and having Douglas Radiator not be involved in the remaining work needed but he said he didn't want to work on the car anymore.
