About Douglas County Community & Senior Center
The Douglas County Community & Senior Center is a lovely and well-maintained place. It offers many classes, senior lunches, and special events like day trips. The facility is clean, brightly-lit, and pleasant with more than adequate HVAC. It features a great indoor track for rainy days, a nice gym with lots of cardio and weight equipment, a climbing wall, and basketball or pickleball courts. There is also a cozy library and book swap area. The staff and volunteers are outstanding and friendly. Prices are very reasonable. While communication about class cancellations could be more efficient, it is a fabulous place with lots of different activities for both community members and seniors.

Love it here! I expensive, clean, lots of different activities. The indoor track is great if the weather outside is crappy. I hate treadmills so the indoor track helps me get my steps in on rainy days
