I absolutely LOVE grabbing a sandwich here any time my wife and I pay a visit to the Genoa Bar. The Jalapeno Popper Grilled Cheese Panini is just awesome with a cold one and I always get it with their super tasty potato salad. If you're just passing through town, it really is a great place to grab all kinds of lunches and of course, there are tons of cool gifts and fun nicknacks that you can buy as well. I should note, it's been a few months since I've last stopped in, the summer of 2024 to be exact and I sure hope they open again as I do see it being listed as 'closed' right now. Heck, I may have to drive by just to make sure.
Parking: There is limited parking immediately out front but there is plenty along the streets and for free.

Love this place but menu needs to be a little more specific. For the price of the sandwiches, I also would’ve expected it to be a little more than just white bread with some meat. Customer service was great tho.

Want to feel like your in grandma's kitchen making fudge for the holiday's????? Just stop by the Genoa Country Store and get yourself a bag of LC Chocolates homemade fudge. Nuts or no nuts, it will fill your heart with memories and your tummy with sweet happiness. The best I have ever had!!!!!! Thank you LC Chocolates and Genoa Country Store.

Asked for two flavors of ice cream in a large container and you would have thought I’d walked into a 5 star restaurant and demanded half of a sirloin medium rare and half an order of chicken ala king, but for the price of the house salad. Would have been fine if it was an up charge but two employees barked at me in unison that absolutely isn’t allowed. I got my second ice cream so I could have the two flavors that were perfectly permissible there last week, and the kid didn’t get me a lid and just walked away. Had to scoop half of it into the trash and cover it up on my own for the ride down jacks valley. I’m pretty ticked off and would rather start churning my own ice cream than stop into the country store to get treated like garbage in exchange for my money again. Ben and Jerry’s will have to do.
