About Goldfield Visitor Center
The Goldfield Visitor Center is located on U.S. Highway 95 and serves as an excellent starting point for exploring the area. This 1,200 square foot center offers visitors resources on local restaurants, shopping, adventure excursions, and mine tours. It features impressive historical displays that highlight the rich mining history of Goldfield, along with stories of gunslingers, land auctions, and personal relics. The center provides clean bathrooms and a small fenced area for dogs, making it a convenient stop for travelers. However, electric car charging stations are currently unavailable, which may pose challenges for those needing to charge their vehicles. Visitors appreciate the knowledgeable staff and the opportunity to learn about the town, though some express disappointment when the center is closed. Overall, it is a great spot to park, take pictures, and gather information about Goldfield.

Functioning toilets and a place to walk the dog. If you're headed north you have 20 more miles to go for gas in Tonopah.
