On April 2nd I took my Chaparral Sunesta 233 in to Tommy's Boats 615 W. Lake Mead Pkwy in Henderson Nevada.
I brought it in for an annual service on March 20th 2024. There was nothing wrong with the boat, I just wanted to make sure it was serviced for the upcoming boating season. The bill for the service was $978.58, which was a little high but typical. I paid for the service and picked up the boat on April 2nd 2024. a few days later, we took some out of town friends out to Lake Mead for a fun day of boating . We didn't get far before the boat engine started to overheat I called the service writer at Tommy's boats, to let them know about the failure. They wanted me to bring the boat in to the shop. I explained that the seawater pump, that they had replaced ( the rubber impeller), was hot to the touch, they asked if it was leaking, I said no, but then later it started to leak. Luckily we were able to get the boat back to the launch ramp without damaging the motor. After a very disappointing day, I returned the boat to Tommy's Boats, the next day they informed me that my Pump was bad, and they would be happy to replace it for over $800.00. I told them I did not trust them any longer and they were not allowed to touch my boat. I do not believe they tested the pump, or it would not have failed 5 minutes in to the water.
What a sad way to do business, I would never recommend them to anyone, the entire experience was horrible, it felt like they were trying to rip me off in everything that occurred, even trying to make me pay for there incompetence. Never once did they say they were sorry about my ruined day at the lake! Honestly I don't think they cared, they just wanted more money!

Tommy’s Las Vegas is a great dealership to deal with. Lucas went above and beyond to get me everything I wanted in a boat. Lucas and Tommy’s were east to work with. I will definitely recommend buying from this dealership.

I recently bought a Malibu 25 LSV from Lucas. I have put him through the wringer over the past year because I wanted the perfect boat. I think I made him give me about 15 quotes on boats. This one with a LT4 motor came in and he secured the deal for me. Couldn’t be happier with it. Going to be a fun summer. Thanks Tommy’s!

Fantastic boat shop. Purchased our Axis A22 a couple years back from Lucas and couldn't be happier. The buying process was simple and quick. We've taken it in to add a killer stereo and serviced all the time. Great team across the board. Zero complaints. They always have great selection in the retail shop as well for gear. Check them out.

I've purchased 2 boats from Boulder Boats which is now "Tommy's Boats" - and can say that the change has been the absolute WORST EVER. When you're a Buyer, they treat you great, like royalty, but when you're a Seller and you place your boat on consignment with them, then they sell it and tell you that you'll have a payment sent to you in 30 days but never send the payment, nor will pick up the phone to speak to you and when you finally get an attorney involved they say they'll send the check, but do they??? NO they don't, just more excuses. In my opinion Tommy's Boats are THIEVES and haven't a single ounce of integrity. It's no been over 65 days and Still NO Payment - this isn't how you treat a customer who spent over $250,000 on the past 10 years with you.

I recently had an absolutely horrendous experience with Tommy's Boats, and I feel compelled to share my story to warn others about the incompetence and poor service at this establishment.I called Tommy's Boats, hoping to address some issues with my boat, and I was met with the rude and dismissive attitude of Brian, the manager. Brian informed me that they no longer wanted to work on my boat because, according to him, all I do is complain. Shockingly, he went on to mention that since I didn't purchase the boat from them, I could take it elsewhere, potentially jeopardizing my warranty. Additionally, Brian accused me of leaving a negative review on Google, which I had not done at that point. However, given their unprofessional behavior, I am now compelled to share my experience. The service team at Tommy's Boats is not only incompetent but also displays a blatant disregard for customers who didn't buy their boats from them. During a previous visit, I inquired about purchasing a new boat, hoping it would lead to better treatment. Since Dave Humphreys explicitly stated that priority is given to customers who buy boats directly from them, leaving me feeling like a second-class citizen. In March 2023, I had them install underwater lights and extra-large batteries for my stereo and lights. However, their botched installation, connecting smaller batteries to the stereo position and larger ones to the starter, led to months of inconvenience when I asked for the exact opposite. They claimed they couldn't connect two large batteries with a smaller one as my intructions were to connect 2 large and 1 smaller battery to my stereo and lights, but they failed to communicate this beforehand.Another issue arose when they installed an expensive controller for underwater lights under a seat prone to getting wet. Despite my concerns, they insisted it was their standard practice. Only after persistent complaints did they agree to address the issue at a later date. The problems continued when I brought my boat in to fix a warranty-covered screen issue. Despite waiting four months for the repair, the manager Brian feigned ignorance about the improperly installed controller, showing a complete lack of accountability. This is just the tip of the iceberg of the numerous issues I've faced with Tommy's Boats. If you're considering having quality work done on your boat, especially if it's a Malibu bought from a private party, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. Many of my friends with Malibus share similar complaints about Tommy's Boats, confirming a pattern of incompetence and poor customer service.Save yourself the frustration and disappointment – avoid Tommy's Boats at all costs.

I've been working with Lucas to buy my first Pontoon, he went thru everything with me, over and over to make sure all my question were answered, I'm in sales also, so I know customers can sometimes be pain, , well I turned to be close to one of those and Lucas was still very polite and courteous through the whole thing, I highly recommend Lucas and Tommy's Boats, if your looking for a boat hit up Lucas at Tommy's Boats in Las Vegas,

Purchased a Brand New 2022 Malibu 23' MXZ from Tommy's Boats of Las Vegas. We had the pleasure of working with David Humphreys and will suggest him as the salesperson to everyone we know looking to buy a boat. We made the 7 hour drive to do business with Dave and the crew at Tommys. What a strait up salesman (and team) who is very professional, who did everything he said he would do. We had an absolute positive experience! We cannot say the same of the dealers we have dealt with in Utah. I would strongly suggest you purchase your new or used boat through Tommy's. We will be back in the future to do further business. So nice to finally find a dealer who is not misleading or playing the bait and switch game-and just not honest. You will love working with these guys and especially David Humphreys. Love the New Malibu Boat-thanks Tommy's.

Dave Humphreys was great to deal with on the purchase of our new Malibu 23 LSV. We have owned a number of boats throughout the years and this was a very good experience. Dave was honest and transparent with us from the beginning with everything upfront. Honesty has been hard to find in the new boat buying process. I would highly recommend Tommy’s Boats to anyone looking for a Malibu.

Horrible service. took the boat in for service and to have the stereo amp replaced under warranty after it went out. I live 4 hrs from Las Vegas but this is the closest place to me to get my Malibu boat serviced. They had the boat for 2 weeks and couldn't get the Amp by the time I needed to pick up the boat. I asked if they could send me the amp when it finally came in so I didn't have to tow the boat back which again would be a 4 hr drive. they originally said that wasn't a problem. When the amp finally came in the said they would not send me the amp until I sent them the old amp first or I could bring the boat back in. I said i would send the old amp in once I installed the new amp but they said they couldn't do that. Their reasoning on this made no sense and they didn't care that this was incredibly inconvenient. I then talked with the service manager who was equally rude and didn't care how inconvenient any of this was. Would not recommend Tommy's Las Vegas for their service.

Don't usually post reviews but I felt compelled to do it this time around. This is specific to Adam Babcock in the service department. Adam embodies great customer service, with a nice touch of empathy that revolves around finding fair solutions. Thanks Adam for going above and beyond for me! Will be back whenever I'm shopping for anything else.

My wife and I just bought our first boat (Axis A24) and the experience was phenomenal! Tyler went above and beyond to give us a great experience and teach us about our new boat. Patrick was great to work with in finance, JT and Victor were awesome to get us all the gear we needed in the pro shop. Looking forward to continuing to work with the Tommy’s team and having a blast out on the water!
