Absolutely the worst experience of my life, they close at 9pm but WILL NOT schedule you for anything past 6pm...and will treat you like a burden, call corporate to complain and all you'll get is BANNED! I'd give it a ZERO but I can't so there's one star. Save your time, money and take your business anywhere else but CARMAX...

Sold my car and went to the bank and the check bounced so the bank charged me, the took a week of me following up and trying to get ahold of someone they would tell me "he's not here right now" and a bunch of "we can't say anything of the phone" so I had to drive back down there again from across town to get a second check and they didn't pay for the charge I got from my bank

Car was obviously not thoroughly inspected or prepared prior to delivery. Car had quite a few mechanical issues that were not addressed, ie. torn CV boot, oil pan drain plug gasket missing resulting in oil leak, cracked serpentine belt, serpentine belt tensioner leaking, bent wheel. Car was dirty along with touch up paint just globbed on in places. Subsequent CarMax service seemed unable and/or unwilling to address all the issues. Worst experience that I have had at CarMax.

I love my Mercedes Benz GLC300! I'm sharing my car buying experience for those who have not bought a car at CarMax.This is my third purchase with CarMax. My car buying experience with other dealerships have been so terrible I swore I would never buy a car from the manufacturer's dealerships. I did all my car hunting on CarMax's website for a number of years. I love all the car feature details, and standardized angled quality photos and 3D options. I became quite obsessed!When I finally decided on the "one". I paid to have it shipped to my local store. The "track your car" only provided one update over a 10 day period so I wasn't sure exactly where the car was but was so excited when I received the notification that the car had arrived and was ready to test drive.I made an appointment and headed to the lot. The car salesman, Mark, greeted me at the front reception and setup the test drive. My sister came with me and we were able to test drive the car on our own which was great, no pressure.Although the SUV was labeled "black" on the website, it was actually a "dark gray". I recommend to have CarMax confirm the color and other features that are important to you before having a car shipped. Luckily, I loved the color so it wasn't a deal breaker.Oh, although I don't know anything about engines, I asked the cars salesmen to pop the hood. "Yep, there's an engine in there" I said. My sister noticed some leaves resting on the sides of the engine and asked to have them removed, which was done but she kept wondering how the leaves got there, oh well. You need to have someone with you who pays attention to details! :)I decided the car was mine! No negotiating on the price, so again, no pressure, and I got a fair price. I wanted to put my down payment on my credit card so I could get the points but CarMax will accept a debit card payment, so keep that mind.It took only 5-10 minutes to do the loan paperwork and I was in and out in about an 1 hour and 30 minutes.My experience at other dealership was stressful with aggressive cars salesmen (all men) trying to take a advantage of their customers which is why I have been a CarMax customer since 2007. My car salesman, Mark, was awesome and wonderful to work with!I've had my car for two weeks now and I stare at it everyday and say to myself "what a beautiful car". I got a Nissan Kicks from this dealership and I haven’t even had it for 90 days and the car check engine light came on. I’m so upset because they want to charge me $250 to diagnose it but I’m in school. I only work a couple days a week. I’m living paycheck to paycheck until I graduate. I literally gave them all my savings to get this car. I can’t stop crying. Like what do I have to do to get sold a good, reliable car?!Update:CarMax reached out and they are going to help me! The person I spoke to was really sweet, I really appreciate them reaching out and helping me to fix this! I was also told when I scheduled the service appointment that they would be dropping me off at school when I leave my car with them and that means a lot to me. Not all places will do that so I’m very grateful, thank you guys so much!

This is our first negative review of a business. From beginning to end our experience was so bad, we've been constrained to urge others not to waste the time at this location.TROY GOMEZ is the man to avoid. From the beginning we followed signs directing us to customer parking. Upon entry to building Mr. Gomez quickly instructed us to go back outside and "pull it up" for his ease.After collecting our quote to sell our vehicle, he gave us our keys and quote with no expectation of further dialogue. Mr. Gomez LITERALLY did not want our business.After addressing this with his floor manager we exited the building with encouragement from Mr. Gomez to bring our vehicle to a competitor across the street.Guess where our vehicle was parked upon or departure... CUSTOMER PARKING LOT. So it was our duty to bring the vehicle closer for his convenience but decided that the customer's convenience is irrelevant.We happily took our vehicle to Auto Nation and you should too!

We purchased another vehicle from CarMax Henderson NV. It's a bad choice we bought a 2012 Ford edge this vehicle has had more problems then there should have been. We purchased the vehicle on September 7 2023 and have made 3 car payments and have not.even had the vehicle in our possession most of the time. I will guarantee one thing never again.

This service place SUCKS!!!!!!!!!! Had an appointment made for 8am! brought my car in at 7:47am. I was told it was going to take 2-3 hours to fix my brakes and bumper. So i sit in the waiting room to wait. They come out 3 hours later telling me that it's going to take them all day to finish it. I was then told that they would give me a call when my car was ready or they would have a loaner for me until they were done before 6pm same day. 5:45 rolls around and NO call so I call them and no answer. I repeatedly call them for 15 mins and no one answers the damn phone. finally at 6pm when then close i'm able to get in contact with the sales side just so they can tell me there's nothing they can do about my car not being ready and not getting a loaner. So now i'm stuck without and car to get to school tomorrow because this place is full of incompetent people who get paid to do nothing but waste time all day. i can't wait to get my car back, WILL NEVER BE USING CAR MAX AGAIN!!!

The buying process was painless and quick. I received the car on Dec 10th.However the turbo charger went out I brought is back the very next day. My car has been at carmax every since, waiting on parts and the repair to complete.I have been without a car.Yes, a rental car was reserved for me through Enterprise. I was told the charges would be covered by carmax. However I had the rental for 5 days.I was charged 238.00 that has yet to be refunded to me.I have not gotten Any help with this issue.I'm afraid to recommend carmax to a friend. 1st because, the turbo charger is a major issue that should have been discovered if an thorough inspection was complete before the sale2nd- I'm out of $238.00 during the Christmas season, on top of not having a car go get around.
