I've been telling my friends about this store although, I haven't been there in a while. My friend and I went a few times and when we did, I loved the selection and bought a doll for my collection. Plus, I can get lost in the book section. However, I am giving 4 stars because when I needed help replacing a sofa for someone in need who was in the hospital, the store employees (and church employees who they are connected with) said they don't donate but I could go see what they had. I don't understand how this was helping someone in need.

I do not recommend donating here. You will be met with a man that looks through your donation items and tells you the items won't be accepted since they are "not good enough", even though they are in great condition. Never had this experience prior to this place.

Prices on some stuff are getting out of hand. $75 for a used particle board bookcase with warped shelves. That's a no from me dawg

Let me just say WOW WOW WOW IF YOU ARENT GOING HERE IM SORRY FOR YOU- my son, best friend and I are in here at LEAST once a week even if it's just to window shop- I've been coming here since I was 17 and am now 25, it's only gotten better over the years and let me just say the employees are one of the most amazing parts of coming here. They are so personable and kind! They have a kids toy bucket for little ones and my son always runs to the car shopping cart with the wheel inside so he can "drive it"! If I ever need vintage mugs I always run here first! Their prices are unbeatable especially since goodwill is terribly priced now! THANK YOU CASTAWAYS

Friendly staffs. Price is just right for stuffs they got for free/donations. I donate to them more than I shop. Goodwill and Savers are ridiculously pricey!

Drove 30 minutes from the strip to find out it was closed early. I understand the schedule due to Thanksgiving but it' only takes 2 minutes to update your Google listing to save numerous people the time. Happy Holidays and I hope you understand the power of Google to better communicate with your clientele.

When donating, very kind and very professional! Just keep in mind they are not giving your furniture donations to those in need. They are selling it to use the funds for charitable causes which is great. But because of that, I found them to very very selective about what they would take as a furniture donation. They would not take some of what I had that would have been great for a family in need. For example, my kitchen table, the gap between the table leafs were uneven.

My first visit. I thrift regularly. Every city, state, country. I love this place. The prices are uniformed so there is no guessing. First responder discount. Yes! Loyalty card. Art. Furniture. Books. Clothes. So much. The staff are so friendly "my love". Try it.

With all resale stores going crazy with prices- castaways was able to keep their prices down and I sure appreciate it. Not that we are family in need, but I love bargain shopping and you can find so many cool items there. I donate all of my stuff there too. Shout out to Wayne! He was super helpful and pleasant. I saw a Halloween cat decoration I wanted to get and a lady at the counter wasn't sure it was for sale- so I called the next day and asked again. This time it was Wayne, he put an item aside for me. I was so thankful!! And boooooo to the other guy (tall and young) I had a toddler and a little baby in a car seat, and he gave me a big box to carry. He could have offered a little help. I guess he wasn't taught to be a bit more thoughtful.
