20250915 First time needing to visit our local office and Matthew Welsh in the reception was awesome! He helped me get my asset transfer papers populated and printed and all I had to do was provide him my wet signature and eTrade’s latest statement and viola! Transfer initiated! This is not your average retail bank branch, just as Schwab is not your average retail bank. They do not handle cash here. I use this location to deposit checks that aren't accepted on mobile and to drop off forms. Everything else can be done online. Schwab is one of the best, if not the best, for brokerage and retirement accounts. They also offer a companion checking account with bill pay and an ATM card that refunds ATM fees globally.

They do not work with their clients when they need a notary. Only on their document will they notarize. I needed to go to my bank to get documents notarized, which takes up time I do not have on my day off.

Unprofessional. I asked questions they had no answers to. I needed paper work to fill out and sign on behalf of a family member that passed away. Scheduled an appointment with them in advance and when I got there I waiting over an hour before they even decided to print the paperwork. For such a high end company this is one of the worst banks I have ever had to deal with.

Lots of accounting issues from close to open. Very disappointed in Schwab mobil app.
