I am deeply saddened to share my heartbreaking experience with CLA. Despite my initial hopes for improvement, I can no longer trust this daycare center with my children. The level of disorganization, inconsistency, and unexplained incidents has left me with no other choice. The constant rotation of new staff members within a short period since my children joined in May has raised concerns. From not properly feeding my child to the unexplained fabrications on daily reports, my trust has been shattered. The daily report sheets frequently contained blatant lies, and the explanations provided were often unsatisfactory, ranging from "I was at lunch" to "I wasn't in there at the time." The lack of communication and coordination between teachers is a major issue. Children are passed along with no clear direction, leaving parents like me worried about their care. One of my primary concerns is the ever-changing roster of teachers in my daughter's class, making it difficult to provide the continuity of care she requires due to her autism. Teachers seem to come and go as they please, resulting in frequent call-outs and even resignations. As a result, I can never get a clear answer about my child's day.CLA's focus on quantity over quality, both in terms of teachers and children enrolled, is causing immense stress and burnout among the staff. Incidents like my child being left sleeping for four hours despite their record showing otherwise or being left in soiled diapers highlight the inadequate care provided. Additionally, there was a disturbing incident involving an unexplained bruise on my child's face. The teachers noticed it at 4 p.m. but failed to inform me until I picked her up at 6:30 p.m., asking if I believed she had caused the bruise herself by holding her cheeks, which seems highly implausible.A critical concern is the unsanitary practices observed, such as changing my child's diaper without gloves and the presence of another child's feces in my child's diaper, which was initially denied by the staff. Incidents like these are not only unprofessional but also a severe breach of hygiene standards. Furthermore, a lack of supervision has led to dangerous situations, like a child wielding scissors, and teachers being oblivious to the risk.I wish to highlight that there are some exceptional teachers at CLA, but regrettably, their efforts are overshadowed by the pervasive issues within the center. The high teacher turnover rate is a testament to the challenges they face.In light of these concerns, I can no longer trust CLA with my children's well-being, and I urge other parents to consider their options carefully. The welfare and safety of our children should always be the top priority, and unfortunately, I no longer believe CLA can provide that. This review comes from a place of deep disappointment and a sincere hope for improvements in childcare standards and practices. As a parent, it is my responsibility to ensure my children are in a safe and nurturing environment, and CLA has failed to meet these essential criteria. The incidents I've described are just a fraction of the numerous problems I've encountered during my time with CLA. The lack of accountability, transparency, and basic childcare practices is a grave concern, and I hope my feedback serves as a wake-up call for necessary changes.

Pros: Flexible schedulingCons: Misappropriation - They charge you even when not providing services for example when school is closed a week or two for Easter/Christmas and they're not busing your children, or even when the daycare itself is closed half the week for Thanksgiving. They still charge your credit card the full week(s). Shady, shameless and unscrupulous.

The picture is beautiful, but there are a lot of children, they are divided into two shifts. Children are not given attention.

Parents do not send your children here. My son came home with a bruised lip and no one knows what happened. The teachers are extremely lazy and lack sense of urgency. I will be talking further action immediately.

Front desk ladies were very disrespectful and rude, the place smelled like urine, and they were very rude to the mother of a child that attended the school.

We’ve had the pleasure of being there for a couple of years and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better establishment to help our son grow. He was always excited to wake up and go there. The staff truly care about your child. Mrs.Janet is the best there is to prepare your child for school! Hoping to return with our youngest.

Wow. They will not give you simple information like tuition rates that should be a simple 2-minute conversation (if that) without making you come in for a tour, even when you are just comparison shopping. The lady became nasty when I asked a second time as well. This is such basic information. I guess they don't value clear communication. Well, just saved us the trouble of a lot of unpleasant (lack of) communication if I had gone with them I guess... There are plenty of other childcare options in the area. Again wow.

if you love your babies do not take them here. My kids got bite, had bruises or scratches at pickups. My kids were never where they were supposed to be and if you ask where they are, you have to go search for them on your own. My kids got sick all the time. Teachers come from off the streets, I'm sure don't have much training. They don't do or have half the stuff they say on the website. Red flags I should have listened to prior to taking my babies here.

I wasn't going to say anything but I must. For one I'll say I think that most of the staff is nice and welcoming and the school looks very nice itself. However my twins started daycare on March 20th, by March 23 one of the twins got sick and by March 24 they were in the ER. It is now April 19th and they are still sick. I'm new to motherhood and daycare stuff but I'm KNOW 2 yr olds being sick for this long is a real concern. Sure kids get sick at daycare, plenty of parents dump their experiences on each other about that, but what concerned me was those first 3 days I picked up my kids and one of them had smeared dried up tears and snot all over her face as if she was crying for a while and no one consoled her of wiped her face. Also, there is one daycare teacher that rubbed me the wrong the way by the name of Rhonda, the first day I noticed she gave a look at my twins as if there were "baggage" like she didn't want to deal with them, she also wasn't very welcoming, she was nice but it seemed forced. She was also one of the teachers in the class the first couple of days, the second day I brought my grand mother and niece with me to see show them the school and my grandmother had walk up to Rhonda and make her notice us while we stood at the door trying to get her attention in which my grandmother made a comment about how the teacher pretend not to notice us. Also the room is all the way I back of the building, there is no ventilation what so ever and the air system broke. Also when you walk into the room it immediately smells like the toilet, in which the bathroom where the toddlers pee is in the same room with the door constantly open. So I'd say that's pretty much how the girls got sick with all those germs permeating through the room along with toddlers being toddlers spreading germs already. There is not much clean air flowing through there, I asked the teachers if they could move the kids to a different room with cleaner air while the system gets fixed but nothing budged. What also concerned me was when I dropped the off later than normal the last day we were there the teacher fed them but the way she fed them, grabbing let's gloves and scooped the pasta out of the a tube by her hands and putting it on a plate for my kid to eat, I asked her if that's how they feed the kids normally and she said it was because they came after the other kids ate, and I said that's not sanitary, I should've took the plate away but didn't, the next day they were in the ER and that was the last time they were ever there. My twins now have Bronchitis The flu One of the twins lungs are struggling, she never had any issues with respiratory beforehand. For daycare to be as expensive regardless of how it's paid, all daycare should be a lot more sanitary and more attentive to children Again the staff was great the some of the teachers there need more training of how to upkeep the cleanliness and to not judge or be biased towards certain children.

A lady from this “Learning” school came out and profiled my girlfriend which was just waiting in the parking lot for me to arrive no later than a second after she stepped foot on the open to the public parking lot directly OFF the street. This lady came out aggressive and with an attitude demanding that she leaves after walking through the lot for a few seconds. If the teachers or workers or whatever you want to call it have this type of attitude and aggression towards a innocent, young girl, then I could only imagine the horrible aggressive confrontation’s that they may be having with the children. Completely deplorable behavior for anyone near children, would never bring my kids here.

The teachers, and staff are very nice and polite here. The only trouble I've had is that they give my kids sugar without asking first, and I prefer not to pick up sugar hyped kids at the end of a long day. They leave a basket of suckers on the counter meaning the children see it, and beg for it the whole way out of the place. So you end up having to drag them kicking, or give in just to get them to the car. With dinner being the next stop on my trip I'd rather they just educate my kids and feed them healthy food. All of the food is good quality from Costco so no real issues there. After a couple of requests they finally removed the s***** basket or at least try to hide it better. I know its up to me to train my children that they dont get sweets every day but a little help would be appreciated. You must fill out a forum to have lotion applied to your child if they have dry skin, and supply the lotion which is fine. But they dont often do it. So whats the point? You also must sign a forum for a doctors Rx to be given which is fine, But you cannot get them to give over the counter drugs like Tylenol for a fever. Instead they make you leave work and come get them. My ex-nanny provided more of a service than this place and cost about the same. Especially when you consider all the lost wages having to take them home for Tylenol to cure teething. Most of the time they are getting sick from being around other kids there so they could administer a little Tylenol at least. The sign in process is archaic with paper sign in sheets in binders that they claim they will take with them if they need to exit the building for a fire. So they'll know who's in attendance. Well if a fire breaks out it could start at the electrical socket at the front desk making this plan null. Of course if it starts in the back, the fire sprinklers are sure to ruin the paper sign in sheets if they aren't grabbed quick enough before exiting. Ever heard of google docs? Lets try digital huh? I could go on about how the rooms have very poor air circulation at times and stink of stale air but you get the point. It's good for the price I guess. Ive reached out to Stephanie Carson the regional director with no reply.

My son needed a great place for after school care, as I work and go to school and not able to pick up at dismissal. I found this gem after researching top daycare/after school programs in the area that were not only safe, but structured and promotes engaging activities and educational moments. Hands down, could not be more pleased with this selection! The staff are amazing. I can see they genuinely care for the kids, and even have homework help! My 5 1/2 year old loves it! Every time I pick him up he leaves smiling and excited to tell me about his day. :)I HIGHLY recommend CLA for your child entering preschool or kindergarten. They have great STEM activities and overall, teach the kids how to conduct themselves as the become of school age. Also, Ms. Cidney is awesome! She's always smiling and ready to answer any questions. It is a nice feeling to know my child is being surrounded by positive energy.
