“This church does an excellent job of covering all of God's needs beginning with instructional, devotional, prayer, and, ministries to include foreign and domestic (excellent homeless outreach). Their senior pastor is reachable and knowledgeable. Their music ministry is lead by a very talented individual and their youth ministry is guided by a spirit filled pastor. The church teaches the bible through several different levels reaching all age groups. I loved being a part of it and I know you will too!”

“I have attended services at this building for the past 3.5 years and it is wonderful! There are meetings at 9am, 10:30am, and noon. The services begin in the chapel with a 1 hour meeting for all. It includes singing of hymns, the sacrament, and 2-3 messages from members of the congregation. After that, there is another hour of meetings but they split into classes by age - children, the teenagers, adults - for more gospel & scripture study. There is always a wonderful spirit and everyone is always welcome.”

“Nice church, felt welcome being there as a first timer passing through the area. Mostly older adults, but they're trying to relate to younger audience with the music, kids ministry and contemporary look and feel. The LED lighting was pretty fun and helped set the mood for different parts of the service.”

“I have to say the new pastor Calvin Delivers a really meaningful message each week. The church has done so much to grow in Christ. It is sad to see reviews from the previous leadership linger. Of all people christians should always give someone a second chance.”

“I moved here from Ny in October of 2009. I was in recovery for years and was just getting acclimated i immediately got into my AA and N.A. groups but had no church. My mom moved as planned a few months later, she unexpectantly passed away 3 months later and I fell back into addiction. I had been battling ptsd from childhood trauma for as long as I can recall. I met a gal who was an active member in this church and uh before I hit an ultimate bottom she took me under her wing sponsored me and introduced me to lake mead Christian academy when Eddie was our pastor. Long story short Eddie took time from his busy day to walk me through my issues as counsel and I believe it was all God from then on. Since then no matter what I consider lake mead my home church. I live in summerlin and am struggling right now because amongst not giving my life over to God fully as I should have, I had given birth to Aleeyah Lilianna Oates January 27 , 2020 and she passed away June 2, 2020 and it tore my family apart. Thankfully I am clean but Im suffering from that God shaped hole.Thats how I describe it . I love this church for so many reasons. I love how pastor Randy speaks about the Bible with such enthusiasm and he keeps me interested as with my 10 year old daughter who has been so inquisitive about God. Unfortunately I don’t have answers for her questions all the time because all this time I should have been studying the Bible so I could answer her questions and I was not. This is a place where when you hear “ come as you are” it’s meant. No judgement passed. If I have a respectable Al fit to wear I will wear it because I feel like church is my date with God so I try to dress as such but during times when I didn’t have clothes or felt sick I’d come looking however and I was always excepted. I’ve tried churches close to my home and the message is not fed to me the same. It’s hard to explain but over all , after all these years this was, is and will always be a place I feel safe at. A place that I’ve had many surreal moments between God and I, moments that only he and I know. I pray all who are blessed with the opportunity to be part of lake mead church, come with a heart and a mind wide in open because despite the fact that I know God is evibecause there are so many believers in one place that the spirit is super strong here. This is just MY OWN personal experience. In conclusion, Lake mead church in an entity will always hold a super special place in my heart and God knows exactly why.”

“Amazing church! I would move away from Vegas but I don’t think I’d ever find a church community like this. Their worship is genuine and they listen for Holy Spirit and allow Him to move. So if you are used to 6 songs in 30 minutes for worship, their worship might be different. But it’s real. I’ve never felt God’s presence like I do here. Their pastors are so wonderful. The church community is full of wonderful people.”

“"My kids and I LOVE this church! Been coming here for 8 years now I think:) We have gone to church all our lives and we can honestly say that we have never experienced anything like this church. It has AWESOME worship that you can really get involved in. The preaching is outstanding and keeps your interest throughout the entire message. Pastor Mark from Sin City Church Kids Ministry is awesome, kids loves him very much. The kids' programs are exciting and fun for the kids. A lot of kids talk about wanting to come back the next week before they are even out of the door. From the moment you walk-in the door someone is there to greet you with big smile and the moment you come in to the actual worship area there are ladies waiting for you welcoming you with a big smile, the staff are amazing, loving and genuine. Pastor Jayne welcomed you with big smile and hug and and so Pastor Rhonda. One my favorite is Pastor Tim his voice is lovely, he can sing anything and he preached as well:) I have felt welcomed, accepted & loved since the first time I walked through the door. I highly recommend this church. It is very welcoming for everyone. AWESOME!!!"”
