“This is my church, and it is awesome. I’ve grown closer to the Lord here than I had anywhere else. We have amazing kids programs, a very active and close men’s group, a healing program called Celebrate Recovery, an incredible women’s group, and many other activities. But that’s not the heart of the church. The heartbeat of this church is to reach the lost, disciple believers, and preach the whole counsel of God. There’s also a private pre-K to 12 school that raises up strong Christians.”
“Wonderful Bible teaching church. The pastor refers to and teaches biblical scripture weekly, encourages community interaction, small groups, Bible studies. Baptism by submersion performed Often. And did I mention the wonderful children’s programs-nursery through 12-year-old … something for the entire family.

“We found GVELC a little over four years ago and couldn’t be happier. We are a young family and sometimes it seems difficult to add things onto the calendar, but what we get from our Sundays at church goes beyond everything else. Our two little Children also love attending the Sunday School program and the attached school to the church and seeing many of their teachers and classmates at services and events.”

They need to address the callous behavior in certain areas like the worship/choir team and women’s ministries. It is uncomfortable and more difficult to receive the message each week when you see people on stage during services whose actions appear to be incongruent with Christian and church expectations.”

Like good children of the Lord they are adamant about keeping Henderson a great place for our families and friends and I will stand with them every time. “I sent my 2 children here for their ECC program and I cannot say enough wonderful things. Although Ms. Val and Mrs. Amanda were their primary teachers and among some of the best I’ve seen, I have enjoyed exceptional interactions among all the teachers and staff members. They have made myself and my children feel comfortable and important to their community. Their priorities towards the students are filled with love, safety, and encouragement. My children learned to start reading and writing successfully within the first few months of the school year. As we move to a new school to start kindergarten, it is a bittersweet goodbye to this devoted community. I am very grateful to have found this school for my kids’ care and education. They earned my trust immediately and have helped support that bond throughout the school year. I would HIGHLY recommend this program for early childhood education and daycare needs to any parent. “If we didn’t move, we would have stayed at this church. What an amazing place with wonderful people. The Pastor and his Wife are so kind and genuine. It’s a smaller group that treats you like family the second you walk in the door. I absolutely loved it here. With all of the huge churches near Vegas that can be overwhelming, I would highly recommend this one to anyone wanting to get plugged in to a wonderful group of people. The Pastors lesson was excellent and it kept my attention. We felt truly welcomed here and will really miss this church.”

“I have attended services at this building for the past 3.5 years and it is wonderful! There are meetings at 9am, 10:30am, and noon. The services begin in the chapel with a 1 hour meeting for all. It includes singing of hymns, the sacrament, and 2-3 messages from members of the congregation. After that, there is another hour of meetings but they split into classes by age - children, the teenagers, adults - for more gospel & scripture study. There is always a wonderful spirit and everyone is always welcome.”
