I honestly don't get why the low rating at this location the pharmacist and staff are amazing. They're caring, respectable and just darn out awesome. I definitely don't get why the low rating. They're very helpful as well. I do recommend this to location to others........

They initially refused to accept my Caremark California insurance, claiming it wasn’t valid out of state. I contacted Caremark directly, and they confirmed my plan should be accepted at any U.S. pharmacy—including this Costco location. Despite that, the staff at the counter continued to dismiss my coverage without checking, simply because it was issued out of state. When I asked them to speak with my insurance rep, they refused to make the call. I ended up having my rep contact the pharmacy directly and speak with someone else to resolve the issue.
A month later, I returned for a new prescription, assuming the insurance issue had been sorted. I was stunned to learn the price was four times higher than what I’d previously been quoted using Costco member pricing. When I asked about the discrepancy, I was told that once insurance is involved, they don’t check member pricing. This was surprising, especially since Target CVS, Irvine, CA, always compares available prices and promotions before finalizing the cost. It seems like a basic service that’s missing here—possibly due to lack of training. And frankly, the staffs at Target CVS in Irvine, CA are far busier, yet still manage to provide better service.
Ultimately, I transferred all my prescriptions elsewhere. While I’m not sure other local pharmacies in Las Vegas will be much better, this experience suggests inconsistent training may be a broader issue in the area.

20241122 Kori & Jarrell were awesome! Super easy to bring in my CA Rx and they obtained my last refill and ran it under my new NV Rx insurance Cigna Open Access and scored 90 days generic for $0 copay! Super grateful especially since I was both down to my last few pills and traveling internationally for the remainder of the year. Thank you both again! Great first time experience and much appreciate their awesome professionalism and customer service!
