Not 2 long of wait to just pick up my new internet modem. They do try to sell you on upgrades, cellular sevice...but it was not hard-core. I said No, not today and I was out.

I used Cox for home internet and wanted a simple upgrade. I was kept on hold for a total of 45 minutes, asked a ton of personal questions related to finances, and felt that I was being sized up for the most I could pay. My bill doubled. The whole experience was like buying a used car from a shady dealer. I had Cox in another state and similar experience. If ANY other option is available, I would use that over Cox. Fortunately a year later, Verizon 5G wireless came to my neighborhood for $50 a month and is good quality.

Had fiber installed by tech on Saturday. Now Thursday and still have no service. Text customer service is ignorant and you you can't ever talk with a live body. Cox has grown too big and left customer service far behind. Update, had another tech out. And again told it would be maybe another 24 hours. Surprisingly (not) still no internet. But I'm assured that Cox is aware of the problem. If they are aware, why has this problem existed for going on 8 days???

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Tell me how a billion dollar corporation canât source in the United States, and doesnât have the âmanpowerâ to send out technicians. Absolutely ridiculous. Donât even bother commenting to my review with a âyou seem to have had a bad experience, please email our company so that we can never reply to you & offer you an $8 credit for having no internet for 2 daysâ an absolute joke.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst company ever. Internet is always spotty and they want to charge you if a tech has to come out to fix THEiR problem. Takes at least 10 mins for any response from customer support. I HATE cox!!!!!!
