I haven’t been here in a while since I’ve moved further away, but I came back to get a specific layered cut from Carmen. She NAILED IT! So perfect, I love it so much. She’s incredibly talented and sweet.

Absolutely one of the worst experiences we have ever had a salon. The stylist was not qualified. I’m actually going to be checking to see if she is even licensed. Thank goodness there was other stylist in the salon that helped her or it would’ve been so much worse. Extremely disappointed. Stylist was nice enough but she had no idea what she was doing.

We moved here 3 years ago and had to find someone who could cut my hard-to-manage hair. I had a wonderful stylist in Reno so was nervous about finding someone who could help. We found Exclamations ! Salon through owner Jackie and she said that Carmen would be a good fit. I have to say that not only is Carmen a lovely and kind lady, she has completely tamed my mop! We are so blessed to have her in our lives! We are also blessed that Exclamations! Is such a friendly and fun environment.

Carmen at Exclamations is unprofessional. She overbooked - when I tell her what I need for color-she tells me she doesn’t “see it”, then tells me it takes too long. She was trying to change my mind to fit her schedule. Hard pass.

Carmen is unprofessional and does not care about her customers. She overbooked my appointment, didn't take accountability, told me I had to wait between customers-THEN - told me my hair didn't need color - because "it takes a long time". Terrible. Hard pass.

Been going there almost 7 years the person who used to cut my hair started cutting my hair so bad I finally after 8 months or more of the worst cuts I had to quit...I guess she just didn't have the courage to tell me she didn't want to cut my hair. I got the worst haircuts for months don't know what exactly I did..she was bitchy at times so I felt uncomfortable.. well I found the best hairdresser he's attentive, and so nice.. kindness goes a long way.., i'm glad I left. I'll never refer anybody to them.

I got a massage with Paula. It was fantastic. Soooo reasonable too! I highly recommend this service. I am going to try out more services at this quaint place. Perfect touch, warm table, wonderful warmed lotion and added oils. Just so enjoyable and relaxing.

Sorry, this is the worst place I have been to. I asked for a hair cut. She used scissors literally 4 times on my hair, then she took the blow dryer out and started to blow dry my hair. I thought she was going to continue to cut. But that was it. Most of my hair was never touched by scissors and she half blow dried my hair with her hands, scrunching with her fingers, no blowout. When she saw I was disappointed , she was like I can cut it shorter. What about the layers and style, that we talked about? I didn't let her touch my hair anymore. I left crying. Thanks for the waste of time and a demoralizing experience.

This salon is small but has a nice vibe as a whole. Every hairstyist that works here has there own unique talent showcasing there skills to each individual client. They also sell products so that you can purchase to maintain your look in between appointments. Ask for Tanya she's amazing.. one ok kind! Bright blessings Tiffany
