Usually everything is good. I went to donate today. I arrived BEFORE 7pm and no one came out with the bin to take my donation. There's not a sign posted for when the stop taking donations for the night, and the store was still open.

A terrific selection of clothing, shoes, housewares and miscellaneous items at this location. I feel prices are too high and very unpredictable, hit or miss whether you are actually getting a bargain or simply a discount. Many items are priced way too high for used, worn clothing, shoes, accessories, general merchandise etc. These are donations from individuals, many who donate believing they are giving to the poor or less fortunate who can't afford the items at retail prices so it is very disheartening that I personally have been in serious need of work clothes & household items but have been unable to afford the Goodwill ticket prices, which are NOT negotiable there.*(yes, I know there are designated agencies that advertise assistance with uniforms or work clothes & certain household goods but my experience is often the agency or individual in charge is not reachable, or the office is too far away, or they offer a much smaller selection that doesn't include the specific or required items needed for a job, school or your home, etc)

I have been coming here for a long time. I think their prices beat other places. And the staff is just friendlier.

When reviewing a thrift store, especially a juggernaut like Goodwill, one must consider not only the usual stuff like employee friendliness, store cleanliness, etc, but the merchandise assortment. Since Goodwill's generally sell the crap that gets donated to them (in their particular geographical area). So on the macro level, goodwills in better parts of town will generally have higher quality goods. This little Goodwills is right off of Boulder Highway and horizon, in the Black Mountain area of Henderson. No, it's not Summerlin nor is it Green Valley Anthem, but it's a fairly well to do neighborhood. Because of this, I have personally found a much stronger selection of quality second hand goods here versus the extremely busy and bustling one on Stephanie. The staff is always pleasant, smiling; and efficient. The goods are generally merchandised carefully, and the donation area is always clean and organized. All in all, a near perfect thrift experience.

The worst place ever went in there for a job interview it smelled bad I saw a coffee machine sold for 79$ that was dirty and cracked . The manager was rude , she will probably ask you if you use drugs occasionally and you can't take any days off even if it's an emergency you get disciplined.Do not shop at this store.

My experience with Brenda was one of the worst I’ve encountered at any retailer I’ve EVER been to. She’s so mean and nasty. I am a frequent shopper but I will not be coming back because I’ve consistently had problems with her specifically. Accused me of stealing/switching tags when I literally have THOUSANDS in my bank like make it make sense. I’m no theif? I’ve also seen her yell and disrespect her employees and it makes me DEEPLY uncomfortable. Brenda has got to be one of the worst managers I’ve ever had the unfortunate privilege to interact with. I hope she loses her position. She doesn’t not have the right to treat customers and employees this way. Ridiculous. I feel bad for whoever has to unfortunately work under her. I’ve worked in thrift myself before and I have NEVER seen someone act like this. I used to work at savers and they’re not the best but I will be shopping with them from now on.

Let's remember a CEO gets all the money from everybody's donations this doesn't go to a good cause first off.. I went to drop off two absolutely beautiful solid wood night stands that go on each side of the bed that also pair up with an absolute beautiful headboard with four mirrors. It's a gorgeous set I could only bring the two tall nightstands but I was going to come back with the headboard and the four mirrors. This was a custom-made set that I paid $10,000 for. Upon arrival in back to drop off my donation a young person came out and then an older white lady with glasses thin build with a nasty look on her face. She looked at the nightstands and said we'll take them to the young man. And then she didn't about face not one word to me started walking in and I said ma'am look at I also have a headboard and it's a two-piece headboard it's gorgeous she abruptly said we don't take those!!!! And she walked right back in the back door. After the rear door opened up I had a picture on my phone and I walked in back maybe four feet to show her the picture and she said get out of here I said ma'am look at this picture this is a small fortune she said I know exactly what you're talking about!!! I said no you don't you did not even see the pictures yet, these were custom made. She refused to look at the picture and just stared at my head with a nasty look. She's just another employee a blob of skin. I also had a check for $2,500 as a small donation to Goodwill but after that negative experience I did not drop it off. My friend told me a lot of slow people work there and special ed and very well possible she was one of them or maybe both with a little bit of nastiness all mixed together but after that experience I'll go to St Jude's. Look Below this does not include bonuses.$469,247: Steven C Preston, CEO$375,919: Brian Itzkowitz, Chief Member Advancement Officer$318,747: David Eagles, COO$263,309: Wendi Copeland, Chief Mission and Partnership Officer$253,226: Judy Branzelle, Chief Legal Officer$249,795: Marla Jackson, CFO$239,994: Andrea Affeltranger, Senior Consultant$234,772: Ryan Kuhn, Interim Chief Marketing Officer$214,761: Deborah Betsch, Chief Learning and Talent Officer$200,522: John Cunningham, Senior Consultant DGRLooks like many people are eating good off our donations huh

I bought a speaker and when I got it home it didn't work. I brought it back for a refund. Their policy is to give out a paper that has to be brought back and then verified with their computer. Of course I lost the paper. They had a record of my return but couldn't help me without the paper. So I had to eat the 40 dollars. Why not just give me a refund? Why, if they have a record of it, honor it. What kind of system is this? A paper receipt in a digital age? I will get my 40 dollars back. A couple items at a time.
