Unfortunately, my first call to Goulet Law didn’t live up to the expectations created by these outstanding reviews. The attorney may be excellent but I’ll never know because the interaction with Robin, who picked up the phone, was so short (literally 1 minute long) and very off-putting, she’s definitely not customer service oriented…she was abrupt & condescending, she seemed more concerned about getting me off the phone because she had an upcoming phone appointment (why pick up the phone if you don’t have a few minutes to talk), she was not interested in answering my questions, she wanted my significant other to call back but what she doesn’t understand is that due to limited time, he has asked me to do the due diligence in finding an attorney for him, I had general questions that I needed answered to decide if I should have him call back to invest 10 minutes of his time to speak to Robin, I decided to save him the aggravation. She said to have him call back at 2:30 pm because she would be available at that time, didn’t bother asking me if that was also a convenient time for him…I’m not interested in hiring people who are going to be self-serving rather than win-win oriented by making sure that the time that’s good for her is also good for us. Try to be respectful, courteous, kind and helpful to the loved ones of your potential clients if you want our business. When I’m vetting an attorney to hire, the interaction with the staff is also crucial because let’s face it, they are the ones we’ll be communicating with as much, if not more, then the attorney. This process is already so stressful, at least the people we are considering paying good money to help, should be empathetic and concerned about being helpful. Maybe everyone else in the office is awesome per these reviews but we don’t want to have to deal with Robin which can’t be avoided because she’s the first lines of communication, so we’ll be looking else where. Very disappointing!

Ms. Kucher Zakholy recently represented me in my custody case . She was very attentive and professional. She set me up with realistic expectations and walked me through every step of this process. As difficult as this was for me as a parent, Ms. Zakholy always advised me and was very compassionate. She was gentle with me as a client but watching her in court fighting for me, made me very happy and proud that she is who I chose to represent me. I 100% recommend this firm to anyone. Vanessa was upfront and honest with me in regarding my case. She listened to everything I had to say and did her research before I even came in to see her. One word OUTSTANDING! I highly recommend Vanessa to everyone who is in need of a family lawyer. She is smart, fair and clearly demonstrates her knowledge of the law. Vanessa's fees are very reasonable and she is very accommodating.
