I would warn anybody to not bring your pet here. I brought my dog in for a cough and they treated her for two weeks and thousands of dollars for pancreatitis. I brought her to another vet which I love, highland pet hospital, because her cough persisted and she was diagnosed with bronchial pneumonia. I'm lucky my girl was young and healthy. The vets at Henderson are horrible and I believe just wanted to make more money. Pancreatitis is more expensive to treat than pneumonia. Unfortunately at my and more importantly my dogs expense. Please think long and hard before bringing your pet here. I wish I would have known.

I've been going to Henderson animal hospital for 13 years and the front desk staff are very kind. I have 3 cats 2 went to a different hospital and 1 was going there for 13 yrs. Well the 1 cat that was going to another hospital wouldn't take me for an emergency they said they would fit me in tomorrow. Really?? So Henderson said bring him over now . I did and after blood tests and ultrasound they kept him overnight to see if he improves, but sadly his kidneys shut down completely and there was nothing that they could.?. My boy was 15 yrs old and to have him go to sleep was the worst decision I had to make. But the staff all assured me it was the right thing to do. They had him cremated and a nice urn and bag came with him. So about 1 month later my other cat who is now a patient there is diabetic and caught it in time. Thank you Henderson for being there when no one else would step up and take us right in. Catnip is on the bottom. And shady in the back gets groomed there as well . Awesome groomer and Snickers is in front of her who is diabetic.

Worst day ever!! Luckily the staff at the Henderson Animal Hospital were there to answer our questions and concerns and help us make an informed decision about my dogs health.. They were very caring and supportive when we had to make the decision to put him down. They were very patient with us, letting us sit with him as long as we wanted even though we came in just as they were closing. They also were very thoughtful afterwards and checked in to make sure we were ok and offered their sympathies. They were really great throughout what was otherwise a horrible experience.

Took my cat here to have her shaved under anesthesia. Picked her up and it was the worst cut I had ever seen. It looked like this had been the employees practice haircut. Completely uneven and a mess! Left an email to the manager and was told I can come in to fix the horrible haircut they had done but I had to pay all of the fees for her to be put under anesthesia again?! $600 again. The audacity of them to make me pay that money again to fix their horrible haircut. would not recommend.

Traci at the front desk was super nice and friendly. Made us feel very comfortable being our first time there. The Doctor, Alex was also very nice and friendly he took his time in looking over my dog and answered all my questions and concerns that I had.

Ive only been here 2 times but i would 100% recommend dr Gutierrez. I took my dog in because he was in pain and not wanting to get up and walk. Hes had this issue on and off since the time we got him at 8 weeks old. We took him to different vets trying to find what the problem was, but we never got any answers as to what was causing his pain. I went to the appointment with dr Gutierrez and explained what was going on and he actually took the time to listen and figure out what the problem is.If you are looking for a vet i would recommend coming here!

The first time I called them was because my senior dog broke her nail back past her Wic. They were the only place I called that took it seriously enough to get me an appointment that same day they told me what all of our options were things they wanted to do and worked with me on where we should go on the facts of what I had moneywise. And I will never take my dogs anywhere else.

My dog, Cash, had been a patient there since we rescued him three years ago. He was a big boy and had a hard time walking. It looked like there was an infection in his leg and we left him there overnight so that he could have IV antibiotics. He died the next morning. I am still not over it and it has taken me this long to write a review. I write a five star review due to the feeling that I have that everything that possibly could have been done for him was done for him, and the compassion that was shown to us by everyone on the staff, particularly Dr. Gutierrez. Everyone was great though.

Front desk was cheerful & they were on time ! The Dr. explained everything & was understanding of us wanting to be as holistic as possible with our dogs treatment.

I won't recommend anyone to see this vet , I took my dog about her having some stomach problems all they did was giving me prescription for a urine infection doctor said that all she had she kept on having stomach issues so decided to take it to a different and now I found out she has a pelvic problem and how this vet couldn't find it when they did same X-ray and rectal exam now this vet has to do an ultrasound and probably a biopsy, so let's say this vet I took her to first not doing the right job on top of been the most expensive vet I've been to , they simply sucked!!

I am new to the area and my small dog began limping and acting "off". Being a concern fur parent, after a few hours of it not getting any better, I looked for vets in the area that would be able to accommodate her (same day.) I came across Henderson Animal Hospital because of its close proximity to my house. I did read the Yelp reviews but they were quite mixed and since they could accommodate her on such short notice, i didn't hesitate. The woman at the front desk can come off a bit harsh, but after speaking with her I could tell she was a kind person, and likely just needs extra help covering the front desk. We were seen by Dr. Janjic, I don't believe he ever introduced himself to me upon his entry into the exam room, he just began asking me questions about my dog and when I mentioned that she was currently in heat, he did not hold back the look of confusion on his face. He glanced over at her chart and said she's 7? I then shared information about her medical history and why I have decided against putting her under for surgery. He made me feel extremely judged and then shared his opinion on the risk factors of putting her through the surgery. He proceeded to examine my dogs leg with the help of his assistant (she was wonderful), while i did feel his examination was thorough, it became apparent that he wasn't the type to make sure your dog felt comfortable, or secure while being examined. During her exam, she didn't express much pain or let out any cries. He shared nothing seemed broken for what he could simply feel. He then told me it could be neurological or it could be related to a fatty cyst she's had on her arm for years being cancerous and entering her bone. I have had many animals in my lifetime, i have been to many vets. Never has one jumped to the worst case scenario purely after a physical exam. He wanted to proceed with an X-ray and then evaluate a path forward. After thinking on it, I decided to not proceed with the X-ray and just continue to monitor her arm over night (as it had only been a few hours) and provide her with pain medicine to help her relax and sleep. I have never felt so uncomfortable with a vet, nor have I ever felt like I wouldn't want to leave my dog in the care of a medical professional - but the moment he left the room, I couldn't have gotten out of there fast enough. After some pain medicine last evening and rest, my dog is back to normal this morning. This place was accommodating and It did have reasonable prices for their visit, procedures and medications. I can't speak about all the veterinarians at this business, but i can say if you care about your fur babies, i would advise taking them elsewhere.

I've been to a bunch of vets around the valley. This is the only location where the doctor takes the time to explain what he did and why it was important and what we should do in the future. We got in quickly and did not feel rushed when speaking with the doctor. Everyone in the office was very caring and helpful. I never felt like they were a suggesting unnecessary test like some other offices.

The doctor we saw was very kind and helpful but the front desk person (she has black hair and a tattoo on her neck/behind her ear) was a total b***** When I walked up to the desk she asked did I have an appointment without looking up from what she was doing. And then, after I signed in, I kept standing there because she didn't offer any further direction and she asked "do you have a question?" again, without looking up from her paperwork. Okay. Then she says my cat cannot be seen without his files sent over to ensure he's been vaxxed. But when I called and made the appointment, they confirmed I could send over his files this week when I got them. She said my cat couldn't be seen, by law, without proof of vaxx and, if they saw him, they'd have to give him one. I'm like ??? Why wouldn't y'all say that on the phone. She went to confirm the doctor can still see my cat and when she came back to the front desk said "you and the doctor can decide what to do but we might have to muzzle him." And also said that the doc can't prescribe any antibiotics without the vaxx confirmation. I saw the doctor, got an rx for me cat, NO MUZZLE, with literally no mention of the rabies vax "requirement" so it's like this lady wanted to be difficult to flex the little power she has as a front desk person. Poor thing. It's cool to miserable with you life but maybe learn how to self-regulate so that you don't make it everyone else's problem. Or maybe don't work a customer service gig if you have no people skills?? It seems like this is a theme with this place so, maybe keep that in mind if you have to go here.
