Friday night while driving to Vegas, my car started acting up. The RPMs would go up while my speed dropped, and I could not drive faster than about 60 mph. The next day I brought it into Kia Towbin. Setting up the appointment over the phone was easy, which I appreciated. When I got there, though, the experience went downhill. There was a lot of confusion about my warranty. I was repeatedly told I had no coverage, then later asked if the car was certified. After checking, they found that I actually do have warranty coverage up to 100k miles. I was told next time you should let me know, which was frustrating. As a customer, I do not always know these things and that should not be on me.
Karen did arrange a Lyft for me and said she would call when the car was ready. On Saturday, since the service department closes at 4 PM, I expected some kind of update, but I heard nothing. By around 3 I had to call myself and was told to come pick up the car. I was Ubered back, but it made me wonder what would have happened if I had not called at all. I even tried texting the service number I had been messaging, and it said the service department was closed before 4 PM.
When I picked up the car, I was told they drove it about 40 miles and could not find any issues. I asked if it was safe to drive back to LA and was told it should be fine, but if the problem happens again, to take it to another Kia dealership closer to home. That did not really give me much confidence.
I do appreciate that they took care of the recalls at the same time, but overall the communication and customer service could have been much better.

Towbin Kia did maintenance on our Kia Soul and as usual had my car in and out of service in no time. I want to thank Hector for keeping me up to date with what was being done on my vehicle!! Always great working with Hector!!

The service writers are always kind and explain exactly what they are going to do. My Kia is fairly new so I haven't had major work but, I like taking it in to Towbin Kia and don't mind waiting. The waiting area is spotless and they have great coffee.

We had such a great time with Steven Sojo. He was do knowlegeable with the brand and made us decide to finally choose Kia among the different cars we have tested. Kudos for a great salesman and a wonderful person.

Everyone is super nice. Just don’t ask the desk guys for help on the car they don’t really wanna help they’ll just refer you to the girls and said that’s their job. Besides that everyone is super helpful
