I tried closing out a checking account and they did not tell me about an existing credit line. I was lead to believe the account was closed. Fast forward 4 months later and I just now find out the account is still open and accruing interest and predatory management fees. And Nevada State Bank, specifically 400 N Green Valley Pkwy, Henderson, NV 89074, doesn't want to make me whole and waive the accrued fees but wants to deflect and hope I go away. I just filed a complaint against them with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, or CFPB. I encourage all of you to do the same because by law Nevada State Bank has to answer the complaint. CFPB is a federal government organization to help consumers who are taken advantage of by financial institutions such as Nevada State Bank.

I have moved all my banking from the other branches to this branch. Dottie has always handled our affairs with care and the staff represents that same efficiency and kindness in what they do. Prior experiences with another branch had me fed up after 12 years of banking with them, but this branch feels like what NSB used to feel like. Highly recommended.

I transferred my Ameratrade account to NSB because was Schwab was taking over and I wanted to move one of my accounts to a local bank.At this NSB said I could get a free credit card so I said ok. I also had my social security moved direct deposit into NSB checking account. I guess I used my credit card not realizing they would not send me an email or text or statement with a bill it's all on line & you need to visit there web sight to see it you owe any money. Next thing I know I'm getting charged a 30.00 LATE FEE. My credit was perfect until this happened. I took the bill to the local branch and they basically told me, a new customer too bad so sad we just got 30.00 from you and screwed up your credit rating. Local bank yea ok...Now I have to wait a few months before I can set up my social security to to another bank so I'm stuck with these guys for while longer but when I can I will move my checking account my savings account and my CD to a bank with integrity. Just because the bank says Nevada doesn't mean they will treat you like a local bank would. Can't wait to get out of this mess!

This is the most lame branch to go to. They have tellers that don't know anything . They have been there for awhile they just hand you the 800 number to call. I was having problem connecting with the support number so I went there to get some help. There was a new teller that was helpful but the others are a waste of time to get any help from them. The Eastern branch is so much more efficient and supportive of you giving them your business

I parted ways with Chase a little over a decade ago after they were fined for something awful. I'm so glad that my business associate referred me to his business banker. First I moved my business accounts, then my personal accounts, then I refinanced my home, then I purchased a few vehicles.... It's so crazy to have a bank that I actually enjoy dealing with. My singular complaint is that the location closest to my residence isn't open on Saturdays but that's a relatively small inconvenience.

If you value your financial health stay away from this bank! They will screw your life over and not take any responsibility for their own faults. I started a new account with them and thought I was in good hands. That was not the case. They gave me a wrong account number 3 times and caused one of of my important business credit cards to close for multiple NSFs as well as my mortgage payment having 3 NSF charges as well. I called in to verify the account with them 3 times and was assured I had the right number. I didn't and that caused me to lose that card and have several hundred dollars in fees being owed for NSF charges. Now I can't even re apply for the new card because of a closed card and my credit dropped for losing all of that available credit. They wont do anything and have taken zero steps to help. Stay far far away from this place.

Quick and efficient transaction with an incredibly helpful and polite financial representative. He understood my problem and was able to assist me immediately. No wait. This was my first trip to this branch and I love the layout of this office. It felt much more bright, open, and modern compared to another location on Warm Springs with its thick, glass barriers between you and your representative. This just felt more personal and like a local, Nevada bank. I will definitely stop by this location again if I'm in the neighborhood. Thank you!

We had an outstanding experience today at Nevada State Bank located at 400 N. Green Valley Parkway in Henderson. We met with a true professional with a great attitude and wonderful customer service to notarize documents for us on this Saturday morning. Shout out to Matthew for all of his time and dedication and being so thorough to helping us in ways that we never even thought of for other things that we should have been considering for financial health. Thank you Matt for all that you do keep up the great work.

I've had my accounts with NSB for nearly ten years since moving to Nevada, I've been to branches throughout the city with little to no issue; however over my last few trips to this Green Valley location the banker (Kevin) has had something rude and unnecessary to say to me each time. I do what I can when it comes to my banking online so I don't have to come here but when I do need to make the trip it's certainly not to be disrespected by this (man) who looks down on the customers.

I have been a customer here for 4 yrs and last week I came in with one of my friends on Saturday the older gentleman who was helping us Kevin was very polite but you can clearly see that there is something wrong with him he was very pale and he was constantly coughing and there was multiple tellers that looked a bit sick but yet there were very polite and thankful for the mask that they were wearing but Nevada state. Bank if you know your workers are sick or even shows some symptoms why would you not send them home if they are sick they can get us clients sick regardless of the mask or the fake glass you have in front of us and also they can get other employees sick this is also an issue specially what's going on. They are constantly touching our money please let us know what you will do to change this. It is outrageous that you would let your employee stay knowing that they are sick even with a mild cough that's also a health risk for us
