Here comes an 11 year review in the making of this branch specifically, not the other MUCH better ran branches. We are certainly on the upper division of clients this bank has as our business has relatively high volume, and have been loyal to NSB since the beginning. I chose to read some of these reviews before I posted mine, and I find it interesting how many complaints about the same people yet they still are in place running their customers out the door and to other branches. To add to that pile of reviews, Carmen (the branch manager) is probably the worst representative of a company that could ever be put in place. She has no care for customer relationships, finds no value in the length of a relationship, and her only care is if her picture is still on the wall.Leyda I am not entirely convinced is even real. I have been in that branch since her first day at that branch and have seen her move positions to finally the one she is in now and I am still not convinced she isn't a robot. Just like robots, she has no emotion and no way of reading the room or the conversation. She repeats what she is told and doesn't seek any way to be helpful to the client in any way. To put it clearly, it is the equivalent of the little chat bot you get to talk to for support before you actually get to talk to someone. We will not be moving banks as this does not represent all of NSB and their offerings, but this branch for any type of business is an absolute NO. Since moving branches and dealing with competent and timely bankers we have have nothing but positive things to say. At this branch as long as Carmen tosses out a treat or two from her office all is well I guess.

I have been personal and business banking with NSB for almost 20 years. We switched to the Warm Springs branch about 10 years ago. We are a fairly large contractor and carry a sizable bank balance. The long and short of this is the branch is impossible to deal with. In all of these years we have never had a check bounce (on either side), insufficient funds nor any other negative banking issues, yet they offer nothing but the barest of benefits as though we are a new account. The staff is unfriendly and unhelpful, specifically the bank managers Carmen and Leda (I apologize if misspelled). When an issue arises you will be met with one of two responses…the back office said so or you can take your business elsewhere. I think that is exactly what we are going to do.

I called ahead to make sure that the document’s we had would be sufficient so that my daughter could close her trust fund and yet the lady at first glance is telling us they can’t help us then she over looks the fact that my daughter has her school ID and still try’s to find any reason to not help us like she is ridiculous that’s why I never went to this bank their reputation is honestly true, they suck and will treat you like YOUR MONEY is theirs smdh what a joke! And save the apology reply because it isn’t genuine at all?

Been with NSB for over a decade. Carmen is such a horrible manager as she never calls you back or responds to emails. I’ve had business accounts with them since 2006 and I’m finally closing out all accounts this week. For them to still put a 7 business day hold on a check I had deposited it a complete joke.

I have used NSB only for many years and have never had any problems with Staff or business. And I am most grateful that they are here to help me with any of my needs. Thank you so much NSB.

This bank has the slowest service ever. It doesn't matter whether you go inside or drive through. It's awful

Such bad customer service here. They got snotty with my wife when she went to cash a check drawn on an NSB account. We bank elsewhere, but only wanted to get the cash. They have a policy that if you don't have an account, it's an $8 fee. That's unfortunate, but we understand banks have fees. While asking what our options were, they kept telling us that there were no options. I, via the phone while my wife was there, asked what about opening an account to avoid the fee. We were told that was an option, but it was too much for this person to deal with apparently. We were told we had to make an appointment, and that it would take over an hour to open the account. We decided not to pay the fee, and to open an account. We'd be getting a lot of checks from NSB customers, and we didn't want to pay $8 every time. While my wife worked to get an appointment, I called to see if I could open one via the phone. The lady (can't remember her name) on the phone was super helpful. She explained the different levels of accounts, and what requirements needed to be met to waive the account fees. She also told us that an account could be opened online. I did that a couple days later. It took about 5 minutes to open the account, and that brings us to today when my wife went back to cash the check again. Same horrible customer service. I really wish I was there so my wife didn't have to deal with it. My wife went in, and asked to cash the check. They said $8, and we told them we had an account. They couldn't find it, and insisted on the $8. We showed the online access of our account. It has the account number, myself as the primary, my wife as the joint holder, and all on the NSB website. Still not good enough for her, and she says it's not an "official account". Not sure what that means, but her supervisor made it right. Not looking forward to this banking relationship at all. At US Bank, where we hold our mortgage, two checking accounts, credit card, and three savings accounts for our minor children, they know us by name, and go out of their way to be courteous. Maybe this branch should take a field trip to the US Bank, sunset and sunset branch, for some training.

I have been banking with NSB for 21 years, this location is not up to what I consider NSB standards. The staff is by far the unfriendliest I have encountered in all my years banking with them. If I based my opinion of NSB from this location, I would have closed all accts., long ago. I will not revisit this location again. Only customer in the building and 4 staff members dont say hi let alone acknowledge my being. Visited this location upwards of 10 times and same response from staff as today- horrible..

Ive been with Nevada State Bank and have personal and business accounts there. They are OK, but their banking app is horrible. I cant deposit checks via the app at all. It's largely useless. I have called and called but nothing ever improves. I have also had to watch them carefully about charging fees to my account. When I call them out on it, they wont provide specifics, they do reverse them but they don't apologize. NSB isn't the greatest when it comes to business banking.

Upset with Nevada state bank I feel I've been wronged and put in business hardship I've plead my issues to Carmen at Nevada state bank her response too bad so sad for 7to14 day for unnecessary holds on checks we can't make payroll, pay bills or buy parts on time yet I'm still charged insufficient fees.I deposited a check on Monday last week it's Monday the next and still no funds available I called insurance company to track check for funds they said Nevada state bank cashed check on Friday and funds should be available. Called bank to complain. Card services stated that funds would not be available. Because of hold of funds. It's bank policy to hold for no reason. I filed complaint with card service they agreed that there is personal issue with Carmen in poor management they filed a complaint on my behalf I've also called district manager Donna to complain against management, Donna stated that in careful words! you basically have to have a bank roll or wealthy accounts and small businesses are not welcome unless financially set. No help from district management on unnecessary holds on funds I've tried other locations for help they agreed that a personal hold against my business is blocking my account at other locations and also agreed that there is a problem with management at the Henderson location. I would not recommend this bank to anyone that has a business. They just don't care about financial hardship they put you through "she said too bad so sad"

On April 5, 2021, I went into this branch and placed a 'Stop Payment' for a $460 check. The check was PROCESSED on April 6, 2021.Upon discovering this transaction - Memorial Day weekend - I went to the branch on June 1, 2021, with the 'Stop Payment' receipt and the copy of the processed check. The teller appropriately directed me to sit and wait for the branch manager (CARMEN). I had seen CARMEN while waiting in line and expected to speak with her directly.I was approached by a young lady who stated that she was 'in training' and "what may I assist you with?" I explained that the check had been processed despite a Stop Payment (with a $30 fee) and wanted to get it resolved. After approximately one hour the trainee approached me again stating that "we are working to resolve this matter and will call you by the end of the day".CARMEN essentially avoided ALL contact that day (walking past me a number of times while in the branch) - having the trainee execute all communication (including a 4:15 PM telephone call asking ME to 'reach out' to the paid entity. When I pointed out that it was the BANK's fiduciary responsibility, I was informed that the "process" might be lengthy and (essentially) I Could not receive a Bank Credit on my account.I DID 'reach out' to the payee and came to a resolution. (June 2,2021)I then called the Warm Springs NSB Branch, requesting to specifically speak to CARMEN.When I was asked the 'nature of my call', I stated that I had "partially resolved" the issue of the UNAUTHORIZED payment. I was put on 'Hold' and yet another representative answered my call. I explained MY CORRECTION to the Bank's error and expressed total disappointment for the manager that: A) Was Responsible for the Branch, B) REFUSED to talk to a customer that has 4+ deposits and C) refused customer contact.I have been a Nevada State Bank customer for more than 10 years with multiple monthly deposits recorded. ~ My husband has has great service at an alternate branch.I STILL await a response from the Warm Springs Branch MANAGER - CARMEN for MY rectification o YOUR (you ARE the 'Ultimate Responsible Entity) error,
