The best reptile store in vegas. Dudes are super friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help. We rescued a boa and they offered to check him out without a second thought. The only place we will go.

Horrible rat living conditions. They are all living in glass containers with no ventilation and very crowded. All the rats have respiratory illnesses and are constantly suffering every second they are in that hell hole. Would not recommend supporting this business.

Really disappointed. I have been going in to get crickets. Always get 100. Well 2 times ago (Saturday) I ended up with more cricket substrate and dead crickets than live ones as the employee scraped the bottom of the tote to get the crickets. Went back last night(Tuesday) , told them about the previous experience and the girl said "yeah, he must have scraped them up". I also am clearly not getting 100 crickets as I only feed 20 to 25 a day. Today is Wednesday...I need crickets for my pets afternoon feeding for tomorrow (Thursday). I will be going elsewhere from now on.

The store had everything I needed, I thought it was pretty clean. My friend recommended to me because he gets all of his aquarium stuff from here. Has a good food selection for reptiles. It’s family owned and has good prices. My complaint is the male with a septum was very rude and I honestly should of just left.

I agree with the others that say this place stinks and needs extra help cleaning the tanks and organizing the shelves. The male employee with light short almost buzzcut hair, silver septum jewelry, caucasian man about 5'7, was very rude. I ignored his rudeness as much as i could as not to esculate anything in front of my family but he had bad customer service when i visited earlier today. My family and I were standing close to the back doorway where they have their register, i was being helped by the nice dark haired gentleman , looking at the freshwater pets in that tight spot and he says " can i get through?" So i say " sorry" and move aside to give him space, he doesnt go through ever and then turns the opposite way saying " better be sorry" that was very rude and he needs to quit his job if he can not handle a simple thing as manners and customer service. The female employee was regular,we werent greeted on entry, the dark haired male employee was very kind and incredibly helpful. Please train employees better . First time i experienced someone rude at this location. Hope he finds happiness somehow in his miserable life.

As a huge reptile fan (I currently have 12 lizards, 5 different species, and work at a bigger chain pet store in another state and do a lot of the cleaning and care for the reptiles there) I was excited to see this store and take a look at what they had. Immediately upon walking my dad and I could barely stand the smell and had to cover our noses and attempt to hold our breath. Mold was visible on the walls and vents. The state of the animals was appalling. One big fish was laying on its side and clearly had pop-eye as one eye was significantly larger then the other and bulging outwards. Fish tanks were dirty and the only decent thing I can say is that there were no visible deceased fish. Several of the reptiles I truly thought at first were dead but after watching them for a few minutes you could see them taking very shallow breaths. The worst was what would have been a very beautiful and cool red uromastyx who was very clearly malnourished. I saw a baby veiled chameleon as well barely clinging onto the side of the mesh side panel also underweight. Both lizards so weak and unable to open their eyes. Most of these reptiles had no water and if they did the dish was nowhere near full and it was also dirty. There’s a terrarium full or about at least 7 or I baby crested geckos in a terrarium that should not hold that many. I know that’s common practice in pet stores because it’s considered a “temporary” living arrangement and we have to tell people how to properly house them but even then stores like petco and PetSmart have limits on how much we are allowed to keep in one terrarium before we have to split them up into multiple terrariums and there were too many on the terrarium here to be safely housed together. Also none of these reptiles had food. Yes as someone who feeds them they do tend to eat their bugs immediately but based on how underweight most of these reptiles were it’s fair to say that they are not being fed enough. No salad for the bearded dragons which they need daily, the veiled chameleons and Jackson’s chameleon can also eat various fruits and salads daily. No repashy, or whatever brand they use, in the crested gecko terrarium. Tarantulas, scorpions, various frogs all kept in the the tiny shipping containers they received them in locked up in a glass case. One tarantula was the size of its cups and could only barely move its legs. It makes the micro habits the bigger stores use look better then they really are. There was a full grown bearded dragon in a terrarium too small of it desperately trying to get out of there. It was kept on bark which isn’t really good substrate for it. It holds too much humidity for a reptile that comes from the hot Australian deserts and they’re not good hunters. Whenever they do get fed it’s likely going to accidentally eat some of those bark pieces and that could easily impact it which can cause death. Carpet or even paper towels would be better. There were two sad bettas on the counter in the tiny cups, much tinier then what other pet stores use and those ones are still terrible but this store has shown me betta cups worse then what I’ve ever seen. They did put some aquarium gravel in and a tiny piece of plastic plant but unfortunately for these poor fish that took up too much of what little space they had to move leaving them even more cramped up in there. Two employees were just standing back behind the register area talking to one another, never said anything or acknowledged my dad and I. Instead they should have been actually working. Cleaning cages, desperately needing to feed animals, medicating fish tanks because who knows what they have besides pop-eye, taking some of those severely underweight lizards to a vet or at the very least putting them in a back room out of customers cover and giving them reptiboost, cleaning or hiring a cleaning crew to take care of their mold problem. This store was a health hazard for both people and those poor animals who unlike the people aren’t able to walk out on their own when that smell becomes too unbearable.

Awesome place full of very healthy critters. When you come here, it's immediately clear that the animals come first. They all look happy and healthy. I haven't seen anything here that was in less than stellar condition. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly. If I was looking to add to my household, this would be a place I'd go.

For the most part this was a good store. I came here often to buy crickets for my chameleon. I had purchased a light timer and when I was purchasing the gal that works there told me that there was a 2 week return policy if something goes wrong. So I had an issue with the product and just tried returning the product (12 days in) and because I paid cash she can't give me a refund but could give store credit. Well that would have been acceptable in the past but I no longer have my lizard so no use for store credit so I told her to just throw it away then. I don't know why stores can't give refunds the same as they accept payments especially when there was a receipt and in the allowed time frame to return. It was only a $15 item but had I known that was going to happen then I'd have saved my self the gas & time going there to throw it out.
