Why would you sort by color instead of size? Makes no sense.I don’t walk into a thrift store thinking “I want to buy a black t-shirt, who cares what size!”I want to go to the section of my size and see what they have that fits me, regardless of color. I don’t want to waste my time sifting through the other 60% of clothes that won’t fit me. And the worst is when you find an item you like and realize it’s 3 sizes too big or small. Wouldn’t happen if it was sorted by size. Not to mention I guarantee they’d sell a lot more inventory if they sorted by size instead of color.Other than that it’s a standard decent thrift store, but the sorting alone makes it my least favorite in the area.

I've bought a couple furniture pieces here before. Went back and found a bookshelf without a price tag. It turns out the Greedy manager was overpricing everything for their 50% off Black Friday sale. So he says, "that shelf is $39.99, someone will buy it on Black Friday". I said for 50% off and they said, we can give you 25% off today. I told them I generally didn't support GREED but that it would be beneficial for me to purchase the bookshelf, so I did. BUT this was the last time I'll set foot in this specific Salvation Army. The manager was so concerned in making an extra ten bucks off me. That's fine. He accomplished that part, and lost a returning customer over TEN DOLLARS. I REPEAT, I DO NOT SUPPORT GREED OR GREEDY ORGANIZATIONS OR GREEDY MANAGEMENT. If he just wanted $20 he should have sold it to me for $20. Also, Salvation Army might be doing this at all their locations. Just jacking up their prices right before the 50% off sale. I witnessed this with my own eyes. I wouldn't put it past them.

Surprised by the good selection they had. Worth a visit but it takes awhile to find the gems.

Use to go there every month. Prices are getting way too high for used clothes and other junk items. Paid $20 for two shirts last time I went in. Donate your stuff to Castaways instead!

I typically love The Salvation Army, but this location is the worst I've been to. I've been coming for the past 3 years and I've found some "treasures" in the past, but the last few times I've been in I've seen ridiculously high pricing and very low stock. They were selling an older Barbie for $75 which I thought must be a vintage collectors item or something...Nope. Ebay was selling several of the same barbie in box for $20. Also paper school folders for $2 each? Yea right. I can get brand new ones for $.50Weird that they sell old used things that they get for free for new prices...I don't think I'll be returning.

Good deals on clothing but not as much for the men as the women, but still worth visiting for men and women

We used to love this store. There's one crabby older woman who works there that has to ruin our experience almost every time we shop. Valerie B. according to the receipt. She's never friendly. She never smiles. She always acts as if customers are bothering her. What bothers us the most is when we pay for our merchandise and she's ringing it up, she has to scrutinize every single price tag. She rolls her eyes and has to question (us?) when a price tag seems too low for the item. YOU HAVE ZERO OVERHEAD!!! We're sick and tired of her attitude and can't seem to enjoy finding deals without her giving us the riot act. We won't be going back. Just tired of it.

I mean... everything in the store was crap! Just go to savers or Goodwill, they way better than this thrifty store!

I love the Salvation Army!!This is a good store for clothes and sometimes great for furniture. It's different all the time so you just have to check or check back.

The guy I dealt with was extremely rude and laughed at me when I decided to load back up my donations and take them somewhere else. There were other people there…maybe his wife and kids. I assume that did not work for Salvation Army and they were very interested in what I was dropping off. I believe they’re stealing the good stuff for themselves. I have no doubt that they’re stealing so I packed it up and went to Savers instead. I can tell you the customer service was 100% better. Don’t waste your time with the Salvation Army on Stephanie in Henderson. The gentleman’s name was Corey and I hope they catch him. His manager didn’t seem to care either because she didn’t say a word after I explained what happened.
