Wish I could write a good review since, my battery was changed properly as requested, hence the 2 stars instead of 1.
When I arrived at Sun Auto after having my car towed to the parking lot, I opened my door to find my entire car ransacked. My car had not been sitting for any more than 12 hours, after going to the counter and asking the guy working if there were cameras on the property, I was rudely told that there are no cameras on property and that break-ins have been regular for the past four months and that they’re thinking about installing cameras
I lost a lot of valuable things and sentimental items in that parking lot of Sun Auto but I’m more hurt by the carelessness of the employees when the crimes being done are happening on their property and they have no desire to make things better for their potential clients. If I knew leaving my car here for seven hours would mean I would lose some of the most important things to me. I would’ve definitely just gone to AutoZone.
Like I said, my battery was changed as requested so thanks for that but if you’re planning on bringing your car here, don’t leave it here. You might not have tires when you get back.

I left the shop feeling like I got gypped, I spent $6,900 last yr at the shop , opened a credit credit… the mgt at the time felt so bad he offered me a free oil change. Fast forward to today’s oil change lol , asked them to check what they did last year, cz I hear squeaking , i get an email estimate for $580.00 and a picture of my front breaks , and Iam told that all the work I basically got done last year was not my front brakes. Nice guys …. Oil change looking at $50.00 come to $80.00and pay $580.00 for front brakes after paying 6,900 …….Be Ready

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience at Sun Auto Services on Stephanie. As a single mother who knows nothing about cars, I am always a bit apprehensive when it comes to auto repair establishments.
I brought my car in for new brake pads and was informed that I also needed new rotors. The price quoted was comparable to the Toyota repair shop, so I opted to have them do the repairs. A friend suggested that I ask to see the old rotors to ensure they were replaced.
When I asked the employee to show me the rotors, he became visibly irritated and slammed down the front rotors on the desk. He stated that he couldn't find the back rotors, but suggested I look through the tires to see that they were new. He took personal offense and insisted that the establishment would never do something like that.
After leaving the shop, I noticed that my car was shaking excessively at higher speeds on the freeway. This issue did not exist before the brake work was performed. I called Sun Auto to report the problem and was told to bring the car back for inspection.
When I brought the car back, I explained the issue to the employee. He became extremely rude and defensive, accusing me of blaming them for the problem. I stated several times that the shaking had started after the brake work was completed and was not present prior.
The employee became argumentative and suggested in an intimidating manner that if he called me tomorrow and said there was a separate problem, I would give him a "hard time." I reiterated that the issue did not exist before the brake work was completed. I asked how I could get my car back if I couldn't return before closing, he rudely asked if I had a spare key. I explained I needed to know how I could get the key back that I was leaving with him. I work full time, including Saturdays, and Sun Auto is closed on Sundays and Monday due to Labor Day. The employee responded rudely, "We all work full time."
Throughout the interaction, the sales representative was rude and argumentative, while his manager sat by and occasionally interjected with calm statements like, "We'll take a look at it." I believe Sun Auto needs to improve its employee training to ensure they deal with customers respectfully and professionally. As a customer who recently spent over $1,000 with Sun Auto, I simply wanted to be heard and treated with respect.
I'm unsure if the employee I was speaking to worked on my car and that is why he took my concerns so personally, but I was assured that their work was guaranteed. I went to the shop because of an issue that arose after the work was done, and I was met with an incredibly rude, intimidating and defensive attitude.
While I cannot be certain if the shaking is a result of Sun Auto's work or simply a coincidence, I was treated with extreme disrespect. Upon their inspection, they stated I needed to replace my tires. This might be the case, but I will never take my car to Sun Auto again. Customers should not feel intimidated when bringing a concern to a company regarding the repairs that were completed by them.

I brought my car here to fix undercarriage work. I needed new rack and pinion and other stuff. Cost me around $5,000. Two weeks later my power steering went out. Took car back. They said they installed a defected rack and pinion. While at shop for the second time ,my car got stolen. They have no cameras or security on property. Now I am stuck with no car. They are unsympathetic.

I approved $1400.00 repair for lower control arms and front brakes. I asked to change oil as well. Fast forward, my car is currently a no-start at this shop. They gave it to me with a loud knocking noise that was not there prior. The manager let me drive away and I barely got down the street and back. Dangerous. Then he let his guy drive it and it died and had to be towed. Keep in mind I drove this car for the past year with no issues of starting or driving besides the brake wobble. They are claiming the oil was low and when they changed it that exposed an engine issue. I have had the oil changed probably three times in the past year. Thing is, when I checked their work it showed oil overfill, way past the max on the dip stick. I drove my car in. I no longer have a running car after an oil change. I'm sure they will deny responsibility and my car might be totaled. Any advice from someone who has had a similar experience? Please share

I was very pleased with the service. They got the repairs done quickly and kept me updated. They had a couple of financing options available. Their staff was friendly.

I took my car here leaking gas, they got it fixed in decent time. Prices were a little high, but I guess everything is now a days! They were great, told me all the extra stuff that needed to get done so I could do it at home and save a bit of cash. Definitely recommend taking your vehicle here for things you can't get done at home!

My wife's 2021 Hyundai Kona broke down and we took it to Sun Auto. They quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, and the vehicle repaired. Pretty much what you'd expect from any auto shop, but what sets this location above is the exceptional service!! They are obviously popular and have a lot of business, but they make you feel like you are their number one customer and that getting you back on the road is their biggest priority!!
