My experience was a good start with the most terrible outcome. My baby bird is dead. Gone. Never gonna cuddle him or him give me kisses again. I'm heartbroken forever. RIP BOB. Please be sure you want to go through with whatever is presented to you. Always go with your gut... had I went with my gut i'd still have my baby and you guys wouldn't have my money. They couldn't even clean my baby up or take the surgery tape off of him after he passed. I had to bury him with it all on him. Shame on you guys & learn to be more compassionate/thoughtful.

I had Terrible news delivered about my dog Lucy yesterday. She has cancer and there's nothing I can do to get her better due to blood in her abdomen. That said, I had Dr. Ashley Izaguirre-Alomar for the first time. This woman must have spent 45 min with us explaining everything. Her professionalism and bed side manner was exceptional. I can't put into words how amazing she was with me and Lucy. She will be my vet going forward hands down.

I have taken my birds, cats, and my late dog here and have had the best experience at this practice since I moved to Vegas 5 years ago. I tried taking my babies to two other veterinary practices before coming to Sunridge Animal Hospital, but did not have good experiences there. My pets have seen Dr. Micha, Dr. I, and Dr. Garcia, all of whom have been extremely compassionate, communicative, and helpful. Dr. Micha and Dr. I helped me navigate my dog's cancer diagnosis and palliative care until his end of life. I could tell that they truly cared, which made that process a little bit easier. The front office staff and techs are also great. You can tell they all care about the animals they treat. My cats seem to love coming here as well and always purr and look forward to pets when they see the staff, which is wonderful!

My 26 year old Miligold macaw had an accident and sustained a broken leg. He did it on Thursday when I was at work and of course by the time I got home everyone was closing or closed. I was able to call Sunridge and get him in the next day. The person that answered the phone assured me that Dr. Read loves birds. Loving birds and actually being able to fix them are two different things. Luckily, she was amazing at the fixing things!!! She gave me the option which I couldn't afford and in the interim she splinted him. After a couple weeks I was able to get some help with money. I cannot express how scared I was for my bird. Anesthesia on birds is tricky. I brought Sammy in the night before I probably would've been too big of a wreck in the morning to bring him there. I had questions about the anesthesia and other processes with the surgery. Dr. Read answered everything and prepared me. Sammy came out of it like a trooper, the doctor did ask if she can keep him an extra night because he was on some high dose opiates. I brought him home, he is doing fabulously. He is able to put his weight on that foot and luckily I'm only having to do minor bandaging from him picking at the dressing. So if anyone is looking for an avian vet , Rebecca Read has been amazing. I have included a picture of Sammy his gorgeous bib and his bandaged leg. I am going to include a picture of the x-ray as well.

Do not bring your pet here! Every time I come here I feel like they take advantage of me because of my pets breed. They judge you based on your pets breed and charge rates based on that. Their estimates always include more than 5+ line EVERY TIME you come in- line items including any and every unneeded tests they would possibly run on your pet, lists of 3+ possible medications, ever possibility of treatment your pet MIGHT need. They present you with high and low "estimates". The high estimates are only presented so you feel better about the spend. Walking in here is the equivalent of looking up symptoms on WebMd. They assume the absolute worst and quote and charge you so high before even receiving results of tests they quote you for. There is no compassion or good explanation for anything. Don't fall for their tricks. It's too big of a business, they don't need your money. Trust me, they took all of mine.

This place is money-making racket. They do not care about the animals that are brought there, just pushing unnecessary surgery or medication on you. We had to put our dog cause of many complications, and all they cared about was up selling us on a bunch of medications and telling us and my stepdaughter that we didn't care about our dog. This is an extremely difficult thing to have to discuss with family without having these ghouls emailing and calling trying to up sell us for their profit. I urge everyone not to go to this awful place with their pets

I knew I was in good reptile hands when I walked in and saw the hospital's pet burmese python Popcorn! I've never seen a hospital with a pet snake! How cool! Dr. Read helped my ball python, Sookie, get off the stuck shed that reptile stores and I could not remove. My snake stayed at the hospital for 2 nights while the doctors worked diligently to remove the shed using lubricants and soaks. They managed to remove his eyecaps without traumatizing him. He seemed very happy and calm when I picked him up. He can finally see after months of us trying to give him baths, oil him up, and add humidity to his tank! They were very reasonable and affordable. General exams alone at most places are around $75. It came out to $119, which I feel is very fair. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I didn't experience the gossiping and incompetence that were mentioned in the other reviews. Thank you so much! :)))

Brought my pit bull in for a blood panel for a dental cleaning and was told by the vet tech that I would receive a call within 12 hours, this was the day before Thanksgiving so of course I'm going to expect a call by the end of the day. After Thanksgiving I called in to check in on a status and was told "they will give you a call back" and that was all, no timeline and didn't know who was going to call me. I then called again Saturday and was told by another receptionist that he expedited emails to the vets to call me with results that day.... Yeah no one called me. I also found out that my vet was out of town the whole weekend as well which if I knew that I wouldn't have brought him in period. So here I am over a week later and $250 down the drain with no results, I don't think I'm comfortable with getting my dog's teeth cleaned here due to the fact that they can't communicate and I get shrugged off when I call.

I had an appointment for 12:40 just to get a rabies shot for my rescue. When I arrived there were 4 employees behind the desk. No one greeted me and I stood there for 15 minutes before someone asked me if I had an appointment . They said ok sit down. I sat there and waited for another 10-15 minutes when a male Employee told me the Dr was busy In surgery. He wasn't sure when the Dr would be done and said I don't know if I can fit you in later. Then he said you can come back at 2 . My complaint is that there were 4 employees behind the desk and seemed totally disorganized. There were more employees there than people waiting. There was one gentleman waiting when I got there and they also told him they couldn't take him. In addition , no concern that they had totally inconvenienced me and really acted like tough luck. It was all Just an unpleasant experience and very unprofessional on all levels. Their customer service is terrible. I left and booked an appointment at a different animal Hospital. I would not recommend this animal hospital!!

Today our Koshka saw Dr. Micha he was super polite, he listened to me (I can talk a lot and fast) I felt he was honest, kind and polite he made me feel comfortable and did not pressure me into doing more than what was needed for our kitty at this time, I know I have always dreaded our fur babies getting sick because some vets charge a lot for everything. I have always felt vets are like some car garages, when you find a honest one it makes you want to to back and to tell all your friends about them. That is why I want to give 5 stars because I felt I was treated the way a fur Gramma should be treated since I'm the Gramma for this little kitty cat, my daughter takes her two kitty to this office as well she said she loves going everyone is always welcoming and polite and treats her fur babies good. When I walked in I was greeted with a welcome which is always nice to be noticed they said I could have a seat while they got me a room, right away the nice girl came out to talk to me to see what is going on, then we went into a room right away, then Dr. Micha came in to meet me an Koshka. We will definitely go back for vaccinations.

I would not give this facility one star; however, I could not post the review without making a selection. My daughter brought in her guinea pig this past Thursday, October 12, 2023, to have him euthanized as he had not eaten or drank since Monday, October 9 early morning. The animal suffered from heat exposure on Monday in the morning and never recuperated. A guinea pig probably weights less than one half pound and that is being generous. He did not eat, drink or move from Monday through Thursday. It was apparent that he was slowly dying. Once seen by the vet, she told my daughter that the guinea pig's vitals were stable and that "didn't she want to do everything possible to save him". Additionally, the animals abdomen was extremely distended indicated something more complicated was going on. The vet prescribed multiple medications and recommended a critical care food that could be purchased online. The charge was well over $250. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I am not a vet; however, I have been a nurse for almost 40 years and a nurse practitioner for four years and know quite a bit about medicine. It does not take a brain surgeon or rocket scientist to determine that if an animal of this size does not eat or drink for 96 hours they are not going to live. I brought him back on Friday morning and had him euthanized. Praying upon the emotions of pet owners is unethical. I would never use this animal hospital again. Whether a guinea pig, dog, cat or other, BEWARE OF BEING exploited to boost their revenue. SHAME on SUNRIDGE HEIGHTS ANIMAL HOSPITAL.

You would think the office would take the time to call me instead of insinuating, that I need to reach out to them which I have been for weeks to no avail. I have been a good customer for years, but that was with Dr. Cevallos. Evidently their other doctors don't hold the respect for their doggy parents much less the dogs themselves.

The vet and all the assistants were wonderfully kind and helpful when it came to having to take care of my very sick cat. They scheduled me immediately - no extra charge - and provided excellent and gentle care. I am very grateful to everyone there.

I want to first thank the staff at this hospital. The decision to put our beloved Sugar to rest was indeed the hardest event that we as a family has ever had to make. The staff at Sunridge Hospital was respectful and thoughtful and very sensitive to each member of our family. If I ever get the opportunity to refer anyone to them I would do so with great confidence. Their tender touch and extra care didn't go unnoticed and my family and I appreciate you all.
