Everything sounds great until they get your money. They drop the trader off, you have 3 days to load it, they deliver it 1000 miles within 5 days and you have 3 days to unload it. We were given the measurements that were needed to get the trailer on the destination property. We measured everything and it was fine. If they parked on the grass, there was much more than needed. They said they sent someone out to look at the property and the trailer wouldn't fit. They said they could only do a terminal delivery. We agreed to it since we wantedto drive straight through and we needed to switch drivers to do that. They told us it would take up to 5 days for the trailer to get to its destination. They picked the trailer up and sat on it for 3 days then called us to say they verified the footage we used (we went over and told them, and sent pics loke they requested) and said they would arrange delivery once the difference was paid. We paid it immediately and were told it would be there in 4 or 5 days. When I questioned that and said we were told up to 5 days, the person on the said they had 5 or 6 business days. We were told they would call in 2 days to confirm the delivery date. They called 3 days later and said the trailer would be at the terminal the next day and we had 1 day between 10am and 5pm to unload everything. We asked about the 3 days and were told we only get 1 day when it's terminal delivery. We scurried to get a Uhaul and help and busted our butts to get everything done quickly. Had they been truthful about whether the experience would have been up front, we would have gotten the uhaul and stayed at a hotel for a night. They use Estes Express for the delivery. Every problem and lie was ULoad. Estes did great and if we ever did this again, we would just go straight through Estes.

This is by far the worst experience ever. Very dishonest amd unethical and do not disclose all information im the beginning and then charge extra hidden costs. Paid 350 for nothing.

I would give this company negative stars if I could. I booked what I thought was a moving company (found out they are only brokers) to move my family from Somerville TN to Fargo ND. I paid my non refundable $250 dollars. After a situation happened with the house I was supposed to move into, I had to notify them of a change of destination and have my route changed to a storage unit while I wanted for my rental to come available. I talked to a man named Al who identified himself as the manager of his department. As he was going over info on the phone with me of where the storage units were located and the specifics the truck needed for drop off, I was now concerned that the truck would not work for the pick up location! Al gave very specific measurements of driveway, type of gravel or pavement needed, driveway length, tree heights and even road footage needed to even get in my driveway, all of which was never mention and was most certainly not in my quote I signed. I told his I should have been informed of this info from the very beginning and was told this was my responsibility to know. I asked how I was supposed to know this if not provided the specifics of the requirements? I was again told there was nothing they could do and was proved a few options that would absolutely not work for our situation. The size of the moving vehicle was the only info provided. This is misleading and to take peoples hard earned money is just plain criminal. Al cancelled our move and now I will resume my search to relocate my family. Karma will take care of these crooks. I will continue to blast this company to anyone I talk to. I have report to BBB and will continue to put the word out to all my friends and family about how this company operates. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Relatively affordable option for moving out of state. The truck ramp made things fairly easy to load and unload. Customer service and drivers were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely use this service again for our future move(s).

Because of this pandemic issue it had been difficult to decide hiring a moving company in which movers would be present touching all your belongings when you would not be aware if they have their mask on or if they have carried COVID. I am not blaming but with concerns. Until we found ULOAD, where they drop of a trailer for self-moving making it simple with a personalized timeframe for loading and pickup. We were given enough days to load patiently. The driver dropped of right on time and picked up right on time. No worries to drive my self from one state to another 2,800 miles away. Due to this pandemic time, the house market has been so competitive that we were not able to find a house on time. That was no problem, ULOD was able to coordinate and arrange storage of the trailer for 2 months, for a reasonable price that really helped us out. Their team were greatly professional and attentive with fast respond for support. I want to give my thanks and kudos to Brian, Manny, Jessica and Al for their great support to make this happen. I would highly recommend ULOAD Where you could save money, time, and most of all don’t worry about driving.

We moved from MN to MD. Delivery was before the estimated time. I had booked for 12 ft of space, ended up using 9 ft space only. They refunded for 3 ft unused space. The cost was the cheapest option. Less $1500 for 2-bed room apartment move from MN to MD. Great value for the service. Any other moving company was not less than $3000. Thank you guys!!!

Clear and accurate details about the service. Polite, responsive, and unequivocal details and follow up. No surprises when performing the service. Fairly priced and always tried to please and put the customer's concerns first. Highly recommend.

We just moved from Vermont to Nevada with ULoad. While I don’t recommend planning a cross-country move during a global pandemic, ULoad made that difficult challenge a little easier. They gave us the best price, they were easy to work with, had good customer service, and most-importantly, our belongings arrived on time and undamaged. I wholeheartedly recommend this company!

Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and helpful! Our plans changed a couple of times before our move was finished and the company was very understanding and accommodating. I would recommend Uload to anyone moving short or long distance.

Do not do business with this company. We attempted to plan a move with ULoad and ended up losing $250 and scrambling to make new arrangements at the last minute. The whole experience made us feel so scammed that we called the federal Department of Transportation. At no point during our interactions did ULoad tell us that they were moving brokers and not a moving company Indeed, this fact is completely omitted from their website and was buried within the first contract that we signed with them. This means that they do not provide any of the services that they purport to on their website. In our case, we were told by ULoad to secure the necessary parking permits for the moving truck. After talking to both our alderman and the police department, we were told that no Chicago resident could apply for a parking permit for a truck of that size. The permit could only come from a company registered with the Department of Transportation. However, ULoad is a broker and could not secure the permit, nor could they put is in touch with the actual people who would be hauling our furniture, and thus we were not able to secure parking and had to cancel the reservation at our expense. Our experience with customer service while trying to resolve this issue was horrendous. About two weeks before our move, after speaking with the alderman's office, we realized that the freight company itself would need to apply for the permit and asked ULoad for assistance in contacting them to make the necessary arrangements. We were told that we could not contact the freight company and that everything would be fine. One week later (a week before our move date), we began receiving incessant calls from unknown, 877 numbers without any voicemails. The calls were from a person at ULoad who we had never encountered. The situation was so bizarre that we began to believe we were being scammed. The next day, when we called ULoad to confirm our final contact, we were told that we had to pay them an additional $175/hour to have the truck driver wait we loaded the car because the necessary parking permits could not be secured. At this point, we cancelled the reservation and lost our non-refundable deposit. If you are considering doing business with ULoad, please please do your research. They are not a moving or truck rental/driving service, as they represent themselves to be on their website. They are middlemen, who make money by connecting you with an actual shipping company, which you can do on your own. We acknowledge that we signed a contract stating that our deposit was not refundable, but buyers beware. You are much better off just renting a UHaul yourself or using a reputable van line.
