Policy & Procedure...After paying $650.00 (processing fee, admn. fee, and deposit), I was told MY application was denied because I owed a utility bill. After checking my credit report and didn't find the discrepancy I asked for the information and never received it. Because of the refund policy, we had 24 hours to cancel the application or we would lose the deposit. I called the companies CFO, Neil Johnston, who was not available. I was assured someone would return my call and I have yet to speak to anyone. In addition because the office manager could not get the information within the 24 hours, we had to cancel the application. So my advice would be, pay the application fee first and find out if it is approved before paying the other fees because it will take "THIRTY DAYS" before you receive a refund...BTW, I still don't know the name of the utility company.

This was honestly a nice community to live in. The apartment was outdated but there was plenty of parking, 3 different pools, and they were good about sending out warnings far advance for things like fire alarm testing. They frequently sent out reminders about keeping dogs on leashes and cleaning up their poop or face a potential fine. I appreciated this as my dog does not like random unleashed animals approaching her and it made walking her, especially at night when it was pretty dark around the area, less frustrating because I didn’t have a high chance of stepping in dog poop. The leasing office staff and maintenance staff were always quick to respond and helpful. There was one maintenance guy (don’t know his name but he’s the skinny tall one with tattoos) that always made a point to say hello whenever I would see him around the complex and I always thought that was nice. All in all, highly recommend the place. We lived there for 3.5 years with mostly quiet neighbors and really had very few issues with the place.

I recently began renting a unit here at veritas apts.I have a 13 year old hot water tank... I asked the property manager if I would be allowed to put a filter on my water lines they told me NO!.. I asked if i could have the hot water tank flushed or replaced. They told me NO!... I don't understand why. I don't understand why I am not allowed to place softeners and water filters to protect my health. Especially since this hot water tank is 13 years old

Marlon replaced kitchen faucet and noticed water heater leaking and replaced it next day. Unfortunately tore my screen door. No worries. Jaydyn quickly reimbursed me to.get a replacement. Well done.

The apartment and complex itself was okay. The office staff is why I’m giving 3 stars. At one point we were blamed for their matience guys not having a key to our apartment. They accused us of changing the locks and made it veyr challenging for matience to fix our problem. Matience guys are awesome and come at a timely manner, it was just dealing with the office staff that I wasn’t a fan of.

I've lived here with my family for 6 years and love it. Everyone who works here is attentive and goes out of their way for their residents. Maintenance responds quickly and resolved any issue I had. My only wish is that the leasing company upgraded the insides of the units currently being occupied and thought about putting flooring down and getting rid of carpets completely on each floor. I know other apartment complexes have done it and haven't had any problems. Otherwise, I am a satisfied resident.

The staff at Veritas is very helpful, attentive, and easy to work with .. super chill, but they act fast and work their butts off seven days a week! The community feels safe with pretty much everything you need to feel taken care of at home, like multiple pool & fitness spaces and grass for the doggies. I love the neighborhood, so much amazing growth and convenience nearby. My only suggestion, after living here four months now, would be to have more than one recycling bin on the property.=) Thanks!

Been here for 3weeks and I love it here!No apartment building is perfect but I’m at peace knowing I live in a community that will try their hardest to be perfect.They definitely take care of the needs of their tenants and the property.

I like living here. Have been here for 6 years. I don’t like the fact the rent increases every year and now you want to charge us extra for the amenities. We also had get togethers with snacks or lunch every month which are now only every 2 or 3 months at the most. Less and less but costing tenants more and more.

When I first moved in six years ago everything was good I was planning on living here forever I loved my apartment, but when the rent was going up so much I figured I could get me an updated Apt for the same price so I did. At the end the grounds around the apartment was not kept up as it use to be. I could hear my neighbors upstairs snore every night, they were pretty noisy… I do have to say the maintenance crew were the best! very good and always kept up on the work orders I submitted. Office staff was helpful and professional. All in Al I had six wonderful years their….

Veritas is a very nice and comfortable place to live. I loved my apartment! The front office staff was always very helpful. The maintenance crew is the best! They always responded to my needs in a timely fashion. I highly recommend Veritas!

The maintenance here is great! They are always on top of our maintenance requests and are very communicative with what work will be done in our unit. The maintenance crew is super friendly. From time to time they have helped my roommate and I take up a few cases of water to the third floor. They are very sweet and helpful!

After living here several years, I'd say it's a pretty good place to live. I would argue better than most actually. Maintenance always does a good job. A few things I think could improve are (which are minor in the grand scheme of things): sometimes the customer service can be a bit impersonal and rushed (but they always solve your issues), the bricks on the exterior building are falling and stay on the ground for months and don't get cleaned up/reattached, I never know when a maintenance request gets completed as they stopped leaving cards inside my apt. after completing a request.
