All the years I’ve been in the Veterinary industry I don’t think I’ve had the kindness and patience I got from Tabby. ???????? We need more Tabby’s in this world!!”

“Being from out of town there is nothing more stressful than your pet getting sick. My dog, Rosco, was having the toughest time. Dr. Gunn and the rest of the crew at Green Valley Animal Hospital came to my rescue! They were able to accommodate me upon two walk in visits. They did not pressure me into unnecessary testing and were able to treat my pup’s symptoms. Quick and efficient!”

“Our dog Louie has pretty severe allergies- he’s basically allergic to existing. We give him do much love and routine care with a special diet and medicated baths and shots, but he still flares up from time to time.Other vet locations have always acted like we are at fault for his flare ups, making us nervous to seek care when necessary. Here, they make it clear they know we love and adore our boy and do everything in our power and are always so helpful and caring ! It makes it so much safer to get the care we need.In top of that, Louie is a bully breed and not one member of the staff has ever reacted fearfully toward him. They shower him in love and affection, and he eats it all up. I’m so thankful for this office and the care they provide us.”

“This animal hospital has the friendliest staff and workers there the doctors always have a smile on there faces. My dog loves going there, She likes Dr. Bowers. I just recently brought my grandsons little dog in for all his shots. This dog doesn't like white men, but when Dr. Bowers came in he could hardly wait to greet him. The dog just loves him. Everyone there does a great job with the animals and the people that go in with their animals are treated with respect. The prices are reasonable and the office is always clean. I love bringing my dog here because I know she is getting the best care. Thank you.”

“I adopted my cat in April last year from a nice old man who didn’t have his records. we had to guess his age from his dental health and found that he mostly had gum disease. when my cat started sneezing and having wheezing episodes in the summer I took him to two different vets who said he’s fine and gave him antibiotics that only fixed things for a couple weeks.My cat then starting having these wheezing/cough attacks more frequently so I decided to try Oasis as a second opinion. Dr Augenstein was great, she was very transparent about her thought processes, was empathetic about the costs needed (it was pricey but I was willing to pay whatever needed to find a diagnosis and not just temporary treatment), and she even shared her vulnerability with her own experiences with her late cat.turns out my boy has feline asthma which is treatable and not the scary thought of heart disease that was concerning us in the x-rays. I’m glad Dr Augenstein helped me prepare for the worst so I could hope for the best, and the best came so quickly with radiology results coming in only a few hours later. thank you Dr Auggie and the Oasis team!”

“Kind and communicative staff. The front desk did a great job of communicating wait times and loving on my pup in the meantime. An emergency came in while I was there in the front desk did an amazing job at not only take care of the dog, but the owners as well. Typically Nash is timid of the vets office however, he did an amazing job and it’s because of the welcoming staff.”

“Great staff at the front desk, great doctors, easy to call and schedule appointments, also great for emergency visits, quiet shopping center easy to get to off of Saint rose, and next door to a great taco shop.”

“I've been going to Henderson animal hospital for 13 years and the front desk staff are very kind. I have 3 cats 2 went to a different hospital and 1 was going there for 13 yrs. Well the 1 cat that was going to another hospital wouldn't take me for an emergency they said they would fit me in tomorrow. Really?? So Henderson said bring him over now . I did and after blood tests and ultrasound they kept him overnight to see if he improves, but sadly his kidneys shut down completely and there was nothing that they could.?. My boy was 15 yrs old and to have him go to sleep was the worst decision I had to make. But the staff all assured me it was the right thing to do. They had him cremated and a nice urn and bag came with him. So about 1 month later my other cat who is now a patient there is diabetic and caught it in time. Thank you Henderson for being there when no one else would step up and take us right in. Catnip is on the bottom. And shady in the back gets groomed there as well . Awesome groomer and Snickers is in front of her who is diabetic.”

“The staff is compassionate, friendly, helpful, and professional. We've gone to them for over a decade with no bad experiences. They've never pushed unnecessary medication, testing, or treatments. We had to have our elderly cat euthanized today, and I couldn't have asked for a better team.”

“They have pricey options at times but I've been taking my pets here for years. I would recommend it to anyone who could afford it and the service is very helpful. It's a hit and miss sometimes with the receptions and assistants but doctors are very nice and great at what they do!!!”

“So happy we found AFV Horizon. They were very attentive to our needs, in an emergency blockage in my kitten. You get what you pay for, and I left with all testing and imaging charts. Sage was kept overnight and was not stressed, for they have lots of room, are very clean and was loved by all staff. Thank you AFV!! We are so glad you are here!!!”

“I had to put my baby down that I've had 17 years I have never been to this Hospital I usually go to VCA but I had to do this on a Saturday ,and vca is closed. We were able to use a private room , with carpet, a soft ottoman, plants you know not a sterile hospital room and it also had an exit right into the parking lot so you don't have to walk past a bunch of strangers bawling your eyes out ,snot everywhere like me .they're very kind inpatient they told me to take all the time I needed. About a week later I received a thinking of you card from Horizon Ridge where each employee wrote a touching sentiment. Absolutely five stars all the way”

“This is going to be a long review, in short, I will never take my pets anywhere else, except for this place. I recommend this clinic and will proudly give them a 10/10.This was very hard to write, but I wanted to because Holidays are rough and I think it's important for people to know a good vet clinic. I moved to Nevada in 2015 and tried several different vet clinics for my cat. I finally found this place and every time I came here with my cat, they treated him like gold. He was never afraid of them and we always left with a good experience. The prices are not horrible. I think with anything doctor related, you are expected to pay a good sum, but it is never outrageous. I got a bird about a year ago from Pet Smart (they knew nothing of this breed and they are not very popular.) I got a diamond dove. He was all alone and away from the other birds and was only 20$. I asked questions about the bird and they had no idea where he came from or anything of that nature. They didn't even know what to feed him. My fiance and I felt so bad he was isolated and all alone, we ended up buying him and doing our research as we went. He was happy and flew all over the place and cooed so sweetly. One day, he collapsed out of nowhere off our TV (which was his favorite place to perch). I took the bird to Sunridge Animal Hospital because he was having a seizure. They did everything they could, but due to his size, too much medical performance could lead to death from too much stress on his little body. They gave us medication to see if it would help and for some time, I thought it did. He still had seizures daily, but they were manageable and we would let him hang out. He still ate and enjoyed being around us. Slowly, about a month ago, I saw him declining and I was in denial to put him down (I have never had to make that choice before). On Sunday, 11/26/2023, he was in critical condition. I have never seen such a drastic change in hours. We took him the next day to get a quality of life examination, and unfortunately, he needed to be euthanized. The vet, his name is Mykhailo, gave my fiance and I an honest answer regarding our baby bird and everyone in that entire place was comforting and kind. The environment was warm, regardless of how much emotional chaos my fiance and I felt. We got to hold our little bird one last time after they gave him sleeping medication and the lethal injection and they gave us time to hold and say our goodbyes. Again, I have never had to put a pet down before, but this experience, regardless of how much it still hurts, was beyond my expectations. They told us about options on cremation or taking him back home (we decided on cremation). Everything was included in the price (I know that sounds bad to say, but we hit some brutal financial issues lately and everything was reasonable in price range). As much as I never want to go through this again, I know it may one day happen since we have another pet and I would never go anywhere else again. I recommend this place and will say the service is a 10/10 and all the vets and nurses are passionate and kind.Thank you for all you do. I know it isn't an easy job, but I want the staff to know how truly appreciated they are and how honored we felt to have a truthful and genuine experience.”

“We've been bringing our dog here now for a few months for grooming and training. Everyone's always been super friendly. We've completed puppy level one training and just started puppy level two training. Our puppy has learned a lot and he loves going. Jacie is our trainer and she's knowledgeable and friendly. The grooming services have been great as well. We've had Savanna and Maria and both are good. Our puppy always smells and looks great. We've always had good experiences and he's done usually within the hour. Never had any problems with them so not sure what's with all the bad reviews. We will continue to go as our experiences have been nothing but great!”

“I had Terrible news delivered about my dog Lucy yesterday. She has cancer and there's nothing I can do to get her better due to blood in her abdomen. That said, I had Dr. Ashley Izaguirre-Alomar for the first time. This woman must have spent 45 min with us explaining everything. Her professionalism and bed side manner was exceptional. I can't put into words how amazing she was with me and Lucy. She will be my vet going forward hands down.”
