Good selection. Good quality meats at reasonable prices, especially when on sale. Produce is fresh. Clean store, very nice staff, wide aisles. Also, they have plenty of electric shopping carts for those who need them.

I have you say, I’m not sure I’ve ever experienced anything like that store before, it was like walking in to a Time Machine. The atmosphere in their store was so uncomfortable. I could tell from the moment me and my sister walked in to the store that we where not there typically customer, there was no warm greeting, and while it was not any fault of the staff, it seemed to be a whites only environment. As I walked past the other customers, they looked down and stepped away from me like I was beneath them. The staff was rigidly polite, and the longer I stayed in the store the more and more I felt like I wasn’t welcome. Now obviously this is my first impression. This is not my typical area and this is not my typical store.
I did notice that they had staff that were other cultures, and I said hello and they said hello back, but it seemed that even for them the environment was not as free as it should be.
You could tell that the stores marketing, and target market was for upper class white people. This is the definition of social stratification. Now this is solely my perspective and solely my opinion an African-American woman. Anyone else who has been to the store and enjoyed it, that’s your experience but for me, I will never go back to that store.

All the women cashier’s and “supervisor” are extremely rude, and have horrible customer service.

Absolutely love the staff, especially when utilizing drive up. All of the attendants that bring out your groceries and load them are awesome people. Ive just noticed the quality of the produce recently. I’ve purchased two watermelons and it’s like they were starting to go bad from the inside out? Not sure what’s up with them, but I’m kind of scared to eat them since they seem like something is wrong with them. Also, bought some Sweet Koraline blackberries maybe about a month ago, and most of them were moldy (I did drive up and go). I let that one go, but now with these watermelons…..I can’t. I grew up eating watermelon, one of my uncles even grew them at one point and I’ve never seen anything like these. Please do something about your fresh produce. Maybe I’m just unlucky, but this doesn’t happen when I go Smiths! I’d like to stay with Vons due their employees and the excellent customer service they provide! I’ve attached a picture of some of the blackberries I took out of the trash back then for a photo.

Gouging customers- high prices. was just charged $9.99 for an 8- pack of small bottles of coke. I didn't pay attention until I got home. Smiths charges $6.99. will be returning to Von's. I knew their prices were going up but this is ridiculous.

Good variety of produce and other products. Some items are more expensive here than at other stores but Vons has great deals if you shop the sales!
