Took my family here as a place to walk around. Old and run down. 1 street. The website was very deceiving. We drove through once and left to go to the outlet mall. Did not even leave the car. Very disappointing.

It's so amazing to see how this area has changed over the years. Not 7-8 years ago, it was frankly a place I typically avoided because it was a little run down and sketchy. This can no longer be said. There are restaurants, stores, the new America first center and city buildings, and upscale apartments that are currently being built. The water street district has gone from a place to avoid, to a great place for a stroll with the family. There are unfortunately a few remaining "sketchy" buildings that are in operation, but hopefully down the road they can be replaced

I really love what they've done to this area. I have gone to several events and comedy show in the amphitheater. There are four levels of free parking. Although sometimes I notice if there is an event going on the parking lot gets filled pretty quickly. There is also quite a bit of foot traffic walking to the lifeguard Arena for Hockey. There is a nice big grassy area that I always see kids playing in. I hope the parking continues to be free and the events continue to be awesome.

I love Water St. There are some pretty great places to eat and drink. It's a pretty small area, so it's easy to get around on foot. There are also a lot of parking areas to leave you car at. There are some casinos and a lot of construction happening near the new-ish practice facility for the Silver Knights. I love the area so much I was considering renting an apartment in one of the newly constructed buildings. I love an up and coming area and I think some of the places here are very cool and fun but I also appreciate the older buildings and businesses that have been here for quite some time. I was really sad when one of my favorite stores shut down and now I think they are tearing down the building. It was older but it's still a bit sad to see things go. I hope that we can keep some of the older stuff with all the new that's popping up. I hadn't realized there are so many parades and events that happen on Water St. I have to keep my eye out on more because I discovered (a little late I know) Winterfest this year and loved it. Can't wait to come back next year to see the parade.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon so many places weren’t open— but looks like a great place to spend a day bouncing from local shop to shop

Looks a lot different than it did when I was a kid. Was cool to see how much it has changed since 1990

Take me back to the weekend and bar hopping up and down Water Street District! As Mike L said in his review, if you're visiting Vegas, this might not even be on your radar. But don't sleep on it. The Water Street District is awesome and considered "downtown Henderson." The city has done an excellent job at bringing in some amazing local businesses and adding some culture and fun to this area. They have a lot of parades and whatnot, so this past weekend, they did the St. Patrick's Day parade, which sadly we got down here a little later so we didn't get to see it, but the fun was still going on! If you're coming for some type of parade or festival, I do recommend Ubering, or you'll end up having to park in weird spots along the back area and maybe even a neighborhood. Typically they close the entire street, so it is a little difficult to park (do I see a parking structure here in the future? probably). The coolest thing about this area? After the parade, there were a ton of pop-up food spots along the street, music blasting... it was such a vibe! I also loved that we had friends in our group with kids, and all the kids were welcomed in the bars (even dogs were welcome in the bars, too!). I just thought how cool. I'm assuming that's just because it was a parade day. Obviously some of the bars are a little more kid friendly than others. When we have kids, we will definitely come down here for parades and whatnot and enjoy. But even without kids, it's so much fun down here. Hats off to the city of Henderson for this area and all the work they're putting into this area to make it fun and a destination. Definitely recommend hitting up this area and checking out the bars (Lovelady brewing, Mojave brewing, Biscuits and Bourbon, Stripburger, etc.).

So if your visiting Vegas this probably won't be too high on your wish list while your in town but if you're a local this area is allgood. Between all the restaurants and breweries. Plus the ice rink and plaza area there is a lot to do for everyone all year long. I've been to several Multicultural festivals but on this night it was the Winterfest parade with stops at the Rainbow casino for a drink and MacKenzie River Pizza inside the lifeguard arena for some dinner. There is so much to do down here and memories waiting to be made.

I love this area. The shops and the eateries are off the hook. And such cute items for kids and my hubby like the taverns ;)
