Sand Harbor State Park is a very beautiful and memorable place with stunning natural views. It features breathtaking Lake Tahoe vistas, turquoise and crystal-clear water, smooth granite boulders, pristine beaches, and picturesque rocks. The area is well organized and clean, with facilities including restrooms, picnic areas, a restaurant, and a visitor's center that serves as a museum. It is perfect for relaxing, swimming, picnics, winter walks, and climbing on rocks, offering great picture opportunities. The friendly staff contributes to the nice experience. It is a highly recommended spot for family or friends to enjoy nature and unwind.
Highly recommended. If you visit Lake Tahoe, this beach is a must. Nowhere you will see this transparent and turquoise colored water. Absolutely stunning!

Sand harbor is gorgeous and a must see on your trip. Pay the minimal fee and get there by 10am for admission without being denied entry later in the morning. The path gives you excellent views around every corner. Rent a bike to get the most for your day there. Incredibly beautiful!

Long sandy beach, lots of kayaks and paddleboards, easy water access, go online and get a parking permit for access, can be very busy, water is absolutely beautiful! Bring chairs, sun umbrellas, picnic on the beach and play in the water! Great day!
