Sand Harbor State Park is a very beautiful and memorable place with stunning natural views. It features breathtaking Lake Tahoe vistas, turquoise and crystal-clear water, smooth granite boulders, pristine beaches, and picturesque rocks. The area is well organized and clean, with facilities including restrooms, picnic areas, a restaurant, and a visitor's center that serves as a museum. It is perfect for relaxing, swimming, picnics, winter walks, and climbing on rocks, offering great picture opportunities. The friendly staff contributes to the nice experience. It is a highly recommended spot for family or friends to enjoy nature and unwind.
Esmerelda was so sweet to my friends and I as we came through the gate. She started off our first time experience nicely. The rest of the park was beautiful, clean and a memorable sight to see. We also got to feed the horse and that was really nice! Recommend this Park to anyone interested :)
