Best view on the lake and they have beer and food. The mac and cheese with pulled pork is my go to after a few laps on lakeview

The best view of Lake Tahoe from a ski resort. Don’t miss it! It’s at a cost though, 13 dollars for a hot dog and 9 for chili. Consider bringing some of your own food and a drink from here and take in the epic view.

Their food is overpriced but within the norms of a ski resort the chicken tenders and pulled pork sandwich are too dry

Not sure how much better the location of a "mid mountain" ski chalet can get. Incredible views of the lake, surprisingly good beer list / draft selections. Didn't try the food but looked like your common pub snacks.

5 star views, 5 star staff (99%) and great good and drinks. You will want to avoid dropping things here while eating lunch or relaxing in the sun between runs, otherwise you get to play an adventure game.

One of the best hikes in Tahoe. Easy to get to this spot, about 30 to 40 minutes uphill. Just park in back of the Diamond Peak Ski Resort and walk from there.

Good hike, views are not as good as they used to be because the trees have grown up

I was so relieved to see DP was open when Heavenly shut down March 15th. However, my experience with the "kids" working at the ski rental was terrible. I've never skied DP, so not sure if they were overwhelmed with the amount of people skiing that last day before shutdown, but it wasn't that crowded as far as I could tell and they seemed to have plenty of skis available. I should have realized when I got off the first lift that something was wrong. I had to shuffle away from
