At the entrance we read a little sign that said, Come In We are Awesome! So we already knew we were going to find something amazing lol! Well we found exactly what we needed for home, a decent used black and gold fireplace tool set to match our fireplace quoted at just $20 by the sweet owner! I would recommend this small business! Stop in to donate your gently-used items to this non-profit or even volunteer! They have great prices and quite the selection of games, puzzles, toys, clothes, shoes, handbags, hair accessories, furniture, kitchenware, etc! We'll be back to explore more! SYOY! :-)

our entire group was berated multiple times by the workers in this store regarding parking. Continuously telling us that we're 'not allowed to park there' even when we let them know we were customers. One of the women even went as far as to let us know the sheriff would come by (not sure for what exactly). If you don't want people parking that aren't going to your thrift shop - either buy out the parking spaces or stop putting up signs that advertise parking for customers of the other businesses in the little shopping center. We were told that the shop gets 'busy' in the afternoons but there were less cars when we arrived back by shuttle than when we got there at 10 AM. Rude people

Passionate workers about sustainability and the cause they donate to. I love second hand shopping & fashion so I had to see what incline village had to offer. Just like your average thrift store, you have to dig for gold. They had some cute stuff for both men and women & ladies were very nice and talked to my boyfriend and I a bit. Found some cool stuff.

Rating thrift stores is difficult because the items are dependent on what has been donated. The stores itself isn't overly crowded, it's well organized and clean. It didn't have a stale smell like a lot of thrift stores have. I didn't find anything in super good condition or anything super unique. So I wasn't impressed with the items that were in stock during my visit but that's not in their control. They are above average with the things within their control so I would come back for sure.

This is my favorite incline village thrift store! I always find good items here and donate here frequently. The store is always clean and organized with very reasonable prices. The staff is super friendly and helpful, they loaded my friend's SUV up with the furniture she bought.

Great little thrift store with lots of tag discounts also a great dollar rack on Fridays-Sunday. Staff is always friendly and helpful and go out of their way to help you find what you are looking for. Love the 50% furniture sales and the Fill the bag sale for ten dollars. Tahoe Family Solutions Thrift Shop Where's the honor? Where's the respect? Wednesday, July 13, 2022 3:10 p.m. - 3:33 p.m. Today, the lady for whom I am a caregiver and I went to Tahoe Family Solutions Thrift Shop in Incline Village. The lady, Ms. Hamilton, found two pairs of shorts that she wanted to purchase. As Ms. Hamilton presented the two pairs of shorts to the cashier, with me by her side, she was told that one of the pairs of shorts was not correctly priced and that it actually cost more than the price that was marked on the tag. Ms. Hamilton replied that what made the one pair of shorts so attractive was its price; the one that was on the tag. Then an argument ensued, initiated by the cashier. The cashier said that the item had just been placed out on the floor and that whoever priced it wrote the wrong price on it. She (the cashier) additionally argued that a pair of Patagonia shorts in a retail store would cost a lot more than what she wanted for the pair of shorts at the Thrift Shop. Ms. Hamilton was upset and told that cashier that she should honor the price on the tag, like any other business person with integrity and moral decency would do, but the cashier would not back down. I stepped in and calmly told the cashier that none of her arguments were relevant, because: A. What does it matter when an article of clothing goes on the floor? B. We didn't know whether it was really "incorrectly priced" or not and it's not as if we took our own marker and made up our own price. C. Yes, new clothes cost more in a retail store, which is why we went to the thrift store in the first place; to get a deal. D. As far as I am aware, the items at this thrift shop have all been donated. That means the cost to the store for a designer pair of shorts is the same as for a non-designer pair. The cashier told Ms. Hamilton that she was the first one to complain about the prices in the store. This was just not the case. No one was complaining about the price. The complaint is that a customer should rightfully expect to pay the price on the tag and not be made to feel like they are being taken advantage of at the check-out counter. Now comes into question the practices of this cashier. Does she routinely jack up the prices at check-out? Maybe she does, maybe she doesn't. Maybe we were just the first ones to call her on it. Who's keeping an eye on her? Ms. Hamilton begrudgingly paid the extra $6.00 the cashier demanded for the Patagonia shorts and left the store fuming. She told me in the car on the way home that she was disrespectfully treated (I agree), felt embarrassed, and that anyone who takes advantage of a disabled female senior citizen should be ashamed of themselves and has no business in customer service. I agree to that as well! If there was truly an error in the pricing of this item, just eat it. What's better for the business? Making the customer feel like they were treated respectfully and fairly so they will tell their friends and family about the great little Thrift Shop they went to in Incline Village, or angering an elderly disabled woman on a fixed income who will have their caregiver post a scathing review on Yelp?

Wow!! We were just visiting and this place is awesome! There was a rack of deals where my sister got some clothes for $2 and some gap clothes for $8. They were in great condition! In the back where the kids items were - we scored! Brand new, unopened science kits and games. We went two days in a row to see what other gear finds we could get before going home. Amelia was absolutely amazing - she was kind and very helpful. She loves where she works and what they support. That made us love her and the thrift store even more. Since we got a lot, her and the manager were kind of enough to give us boxes to carry out. All three employees offered to help us out. This was an amazing place to support and shop from. Highly recommended! (Dare I make a two hour trip more often here.)

Staff was extremely helpful and went above and beyond in helping me locate the items I was looking for during a recent visit. The prices were competitive with other thrift stores. I got a pair of Gap shorts and a nice long sleeve sweater for $9.50. There was a good variety of kids items too! I recommend this place.
