What is the mater with this bank? I have been a customeer for many, many years. We live in rural Incline Village and WFB is the only bank in town. All my customers and friends bank there. The staff never acknowledges me as a local who is in the bank several times a month. Turnover is constant and no one seems to know any common procedures. Often I have to wait for a manager to solve the problem. When I need the manager to open an account, I have waited up to 30 minutes to do so. This time my new debit card was sent to my street address instead of my P.O. Box.. We do not have street delivery in Incline. They should know that and I did remind them at the time. I didn't get my card and no oe reached out to me to say it had been returned for incorrect address. I had to go in to the bank and fill out the forms again!! So it will be over three weeks until I get my debit card (hopefully). No friendly customer service here.

The worst bank ever!! RUN!!!!! Customer service awful! Constantly changing out employees and the ones who are worth keeping to make Well Fargo shine, they leave. Two weeks ago they made a bank error and charged me a substantial amount of fees. I had to take off part of my day to have it handled. Fortunately I was in Santa Barbara and had gone to the branch here. They admitted there mistake and took care of it promptly. I have 5 bank accounts there and I will be changing banks shortly!!!

I stayed at the Hyatt down the street for a few days and needed to come get some cash at this location. The service was super friendly and nice and the wait times were non existent. Beautiful location as well.

Friendly employees (although a bit too friendly it seems for a bank at times), good hours of operation, and tons of parking. Cons: - I made an appointment to meet with a banker and I was in the lobby, but had to wait 15 minutes. I honestly don't think he put it down on his calendar. It's not huge, but when people make appointments in the middle of the work day they expect the banker to be on time. - not a very convenient location when leaving and it should be closer to the center of town. Right in front of the bank is a double solid line and so technically you're not supposed to turn left to go back into Incline Village, but you have to unless you want to turn right and then make a u-turn at the roundabout (which no one ever does).

FAIR WARNING- DO NOT TRUST WHAT A WELS FARGO BANKER TELLS YOU; iNSIST ON SEEING IT IN WRITING! WELLS FARGO WILL RUN A HISTORICALLY PERFECT PAYMENT CLIENT UNDER THE BUS!. WF has a very poor reputation in the banking world, WF has paid hundreds of millions of dollars in fines to the Federal government for illegal banking practices and fraud. In the Reno business community, WF has a "greasy reputation". Go elsewhere where you will be treated professionally and with respect. Last August I went in to refinance a home equity loan, three months in advance of maturity. The private banker, Howard Colgan, was very relaxed about my application saying I did not need to fill out any loan applications for renewal. He was very unattentive to my desire to this done by the maturity date saying, "Don't worry your loan will automatically rollover to a 30 year fixed loan." I learned five months later it had not and WF was meanwhile making negative nonpayment reports to my credit bureaus. I finally called and attempted to refi via WF online. I did in 3 hours what Mr. Colgan could not do in 5 months. I have had a stellar WF mortgage payment history for 13 years! Wells Fargo refuses to correct their negative credit reports even though this is a result of an incompetent WF banker. WF has destroyed my credit rating due to THEIR mismanagement. On any level, this is egregious to ruin the credit rating of a loyal and responsible long term client. Be very wary of Wells Fargo private bankers. What they say isn't necessarily the truth.

I have been banking with Wells Fargo for some years now. I recently had a situation where a check was deposited at a Wells Fargo's Bank...(not at this location). The check was recorded twice. I did not notice it and proceeded to utilized my card as well as pay bills as usual. It is not unusual for me to have deposits coming through my account on a regular basis and therefore, thought nothing of the balance. However, when I received a notice from Wells Fargo stating that the check had been deposited twice and funds were reversed. OUCH! We all know what that means, RETURNED FEE TRANSACTIONS.... and let me tell you there were a lot of them. I contacted my branch right away in Incline and spoke with Nikki. She handled everything with grace, was professional at all times and took care of the mistake immediately... NO RETURNED FEES, wrote a letter to one of my creditors and handled it right then and there, with ZERO arguments, excuses etc... BROVO! MY HAT OFF TO YOU NIKKI! SOMEONE NEEDS TO GIVE YOU A RAISE!!!! ANYONE LISTENING??? A little background on me. I own an employment agency and have been in the staffing business since 1990. I KNOW A GOOD EMPLOYEE WHEN I SEE ONE. TAKE CARE OF NIKKI FOR SHE IS A KEEPER!!!!!!!

My experience with the Incline Village Wells Fargo branch was absolutely a terrible one and lack of professionalism was the cause. A couple weeks ago just prior to the July 4th holiday, I came to the branch to complete a wire transfer between two Wells Fargo accounts. I arrived at 9:00am when they opened and met with Ian whose first comment to me was "I have an appointment in 5 mins what do you need!", he assisted me with the wire transfer which was for a home purchase and seemed to rush through the process which was unnerving. He explicitly told me the transfer would be quick since it was between two Wells Fargo accounts most likely 30 minutes or so. I hesitantly left the bank to go about my day with my kids for our family vacation, I called my escrow company later that day and the wire had not come through? Wells Fargo apparently needed a second approval from the branch which was not completed as the manager was not there that day and Ian had left without gaining that approval. After several calls to Wells Fargo customer service and another trip back to the branch, no wire transfer had occurred and may not for several days?!? After a stressful evening, I called the branch again in the morning and spoke to the only human there that had knowledge of how a wire transfer worked his name is Eric and he approved the wire first thing and apologized for the issue. He credited me the fees associated with the wire but it took another day for the wire to show up in escrow as they were closed for the holiday weekend. The stress of this transaction due to no manager being present and incompetent staff with the exception of Eric at this branch. I would avoid this branch if timing of your transaction is an issue as it was for me. Very poor experience and sufficiently dissatisfied Wells Fargo customer.

The only reason I opened an account at this bank was so I could easily cash checks for and from my employer. It's true that even if a WF account holder writes you a check, you need to have an account with them to cash it there, OR go through hoops. More importantly, the management at this branch is a bunch of monkeys. Wait, that's offensive to monkeys. They don't follow up when they promise to, they make false promises which in my case has cost me about $180 (of which they were only able to refund $90 even though it was based on THEIR error). You will easily get the same impression if you go there - their managers are just using the job in hopes of moving up the food chain of Wells Fargo. But so far, none of them seem intelligent enough. So, they're still there. But, I will say the tellers are all very good, friendly, and cheerful. So, I give 2 stars to this branch.

While deployed to Afghanistan Wells Fargo charge me international transaction fees for a my transactions. Additionally if you are not a customer they will not chash a check from a customer to a non customer without talking to the customer who wrote the check. Go USAA. I have closed my account with Wells Fargo because this branch and the bank are not supporters of the millitary and are difficult to do business with.

This is a low volume bank that offers excellent customer service and plenty of parking. Both indoor and outdoor ATMs are nice too. Highly recommended!
