I fixed up a floating robot here who became my companion after I freed Primm of escaped prisoners (and millitary deserters), and gave them a new sheriff. Fantastic, would get shot in the head a 4th time to experience this masterpiece (of a place) again.

If I could rate it zero I would. I made a passport appointment online. I drove 30 miles with all of my paperwork to discover that the passport employee did not show up for work. I find it hard to believe that of the two people in the empty post office, neither could perform the service. Next available appointment here is over a month away.

Typical gov't entity; making your life more difficult than it needs to be. Hopefully this will save you all the hassle that I went through.If you want to mail a package to this location for someone to pick up and they DON'T have a PO Box there don't send it to their address. Yes, that's right. Don't mail it to their address. They will return your package to sender within hours of receiving it. Why wouldn't they hold onto it for at least 24 hours?You have to address it to name of receiver, "General Delivery", Jean, NV, zip. Who the heck would know to do that unless you called the Post Office before you shipped something? Why would you even think that a package would be refused and returned if you mailed it to their address?You also have to have the person the package is addressed to there in person with an ID. Not sure how my 12 year old child would present an ID. Absolute asinine policies.

Definitely a hidden gem! Vegas tries to make getting a passport nearly impossible, with other offices booked out months in advance. This was my oasis in the desert. About a 12 minute drive to find no lines, and incredibly friendly service...why don't guides list this place?!? I'm going here next time I need to mail something. If you need a new passport THIS is the place to go!

Very accessible to stop by, very close to the exit and entrance to ramp of the 15 freeway. There are parking spots and there is a gas station close by! They have PO box too.The gentleman on the office was very kind and courteous!

I ordered a product off the internet and the company sent the package through USPS. For over two weeks I have been waiting for the package to finally show up. Tracking shows that the package was supposed to arrive today (Aug 8) and still hasn't arrived. USPS uses Covid as an excuse even when FedEx and UPS are still able to ship packages on time. There is no excuse for this. Better to rely on the competitors.

The 1-star rating is accurate. The lady behind the counter didn't know how to initiate a claim for a lost money order, she literally had to call someone on the phone while I was standing there. This seemingly simple transaction took over 20 minutes. Why have just 1 person working who isn't completely familiar with how to do their job? Also, using profanity while working is trashy and professional. I guess someone forgot to tell "Clerk 3" that.

Bruce Mandolfo at the Jean, Nevada Post Office is a DOUCHEBAG! He returned our mail ordered medications for the 5 months we had the box. He said he returns everything after 15 days. Well that is illegal. Don't bother dealing with him, write the Office of the Inspector General.

They have lost so many of my packages and mail some with credit cards that the postal inspector's office should really investigate, because the carriers from this location are either incompetent or involved in internal thief
