I've been going here strictly because my GP is located on a different floor. It at the time that I was receiving my medicine through him I would just simply go down a few floor and get my script filled instead of having to make another trip to Wal-Mart or Even worse the souless pharmacists at Walgreens and more importantly CVS on Desert Inn, I was never treated so terribly at CVS by any establishment ever. I only went here because AHF had just closed and my Dr wrote out my medicine at 645pm and I got to CVS at a little before 7 (they closed at 9) the pharm tech was great and said no worries since one of the meds I need otherwise I will have seizures. Anyway after the head pharmacist comming and saying she would do it, she then came back (after I saw her looking up my history ppmp or whatever the acromion is) there is no blemish on my history. I don't ask for increase. I don't come before I'm allowed to pick up, but for whatever reason. Well her reason was she wouldn't have time to fill it to the next day. So I'm glad I only had to deal with the big chains that one time. Now on to the amazing folks at AHF. They not only take the time to KNOW my history but go above and beyond to make sure everything goes smoothly. The worst case scenario would be a 10min wait which is so amazing and refreshing when I know other chains take anywhere from 1-4 hours potentially more. However as long as I have my end taken care of I'm always treated incredibly nicely and with much understand. I really appreciate all the employees at AHF. Even though I no longer get RXed my meds at my GPs instill xhoose to drive the extra 15 mins to go here because they actually know who you are and you aren't treated like a #/nobody. They truly do their best to understand you're med situation. For that I'm very very grateful to all the great folks at AHF. I wish every business treated their customers like they do. Not to mention their mission statement and the work their sister org does is amazing for folks who need it. Luckily I don't but I'm glad to know that folks like then are there in case I would need to use their other services. Kudos to them and they are doing noble work. Also believe its a non profit though don't quote me on that. So bottom line is I love the genuinely good and seemingly heartfelt service they provide in making sure there arent issues with my meds because my Dr unfortunately sometimes forgets to add certain meds or not get it sent out to the last min. But they are always there to call me and let me know so I can take appropriate action to get the meds I need. So I'd give them more stars of possible haha. Very much appreciate this businesses and more importantly the folks who run the day to day. ? thanks for making a very nerve wracking day of the month very much less nerve wracking!! Much love and respect!

I used to really like this pharmacy but they’ve proven to me over the last two months that they do not listen to their patients. I have told them twice now not to delivery two prescriptions that I don’t need and they keep delivering them to me. AHF has turned into a money grab only interested in billing my insurance for stuff I don’t need. I’m on the verge of changing pharmacies because of their wasteful practices.

The pharmacy gave my medication and protected personal data to another client. I was noticed a significant time later. When I replied to their legal department several times I was ignored. I was told in the initial letter that they “believe the person with my protect information will not use it.” I am consistently monitoring my credit report. When I called to cancel services with them - they seemed surprised - really? I will be turning the pharmacy into the NV Pharmacy Board.

Awful Experience. I work usually graveyard and swing shift so I am not up early, I was rudely woken up by a phone call from AHF pharmacy. The pharmacist was so loud that I had to pull the phone away from my ear. She complained that I don't pick up my meds and I need to start to do so. I explained to her that it's far and sometimes I have trouble getting there, she replied with saying that they could deliver the meds to my home. I live in an apartment and don't want my neighbors seeing that also this is a personal matter if I wanted the meds delivered to my home I would of said so. I don't feel I should be talked to in that way by a "health care" provider I am definitely never going to AHF pharmacy ever. Rude and loud is not where I want to go to be made felt bad. Thanks for understanding AHF I really expected better but I guess I was wrong.

[Apple S's review here is not of the AHF Pharmacy, but for the Free STD Clinic which is run out of the pharmacy's office one day a week and, yes, the clinic is for the first 30 people in line. If you happen to be one of those, that team is fast, professional and confidential.] I'm a client of the AHF Pharmacy and find the staff the friendliest and most helpful I've found. Not only did they help me navigate my new insurance, but found ways of getting me my meds through their foundation whether I could pay for them or not. They even were a great comfort to me on days when I wasn't feeling quite myself. Confident, confidential, and knowledgeable - they're not a big bustling pharmacy in which one can get lost in the shuffle and if you've never had the personal service of a caring pharmacy, you need to be their client immediately. Fully knowledgeable of Ryan White ADAP (AIDS Drug Assistance Program).

I came here and people were here already 1.5h waiting before they opened. We arrived right before opening time and they already closed the line and were only serving the people that had been there so long before. Only one location for Las Vegas is ridiculous but not even accepting people before opening time anymore is a joke. They need to extend hours or open more locations!!

This is a great clinic usually the first 25 people are seen for free STD & HIV testing. I definitely recommend getting there early Wednesday or Saturday. Wed @ 3pm & Saturday @ 10am
