Always check the expiration dates on perishable items! Every time I go to buy yogurt from this location, they always have a handful that are past their expiration date. Just today I went to get a 4 pack of yogurts and they were all 4 days past the expiration date. I had to dig through to the back of the fridge to find one that was still good. I understand things get missed here and there, but every single trip I make to this store, there’s expired product on the shelves.

Store was clean and bright. Unfortunately, not all employees were on their game. I was greeted by a young woman who showed me where the shopping baskets were stored. There weren't many. She was pleasant. Then I went to the Starbucks counter to order. The young woman there couldn't be bothered to look up from her paperwork. She said hi, but never looked up. After a few moments, she was still working on her papers so I walked off. Poor customer service. Then I gathered a few things, went to check out. I found a small group of employees chatting at the end of the lane. Cashier was eating her breakfast sandwich. She came back to her station, never greeted me, put down her sandwich and checked out my groceries. Poor customer service. I wanted to chat with a manager, so I went to Customer Service....waited, waited, waited ...sandwich eating cashier came and knocked on the door beside the counter, but no one answered. Poor customer service. I think this store can do better! I've been there before and was impressed...not any more.

Mystery Shopper Experience: Simple call to enquire about bathroom services.
At first, Sherry or Sherri was polite, but after my inqury her directions were, "At the front of the store", to which I specifically asked for the location and she repeated herself clearly annoyed, "At the front of the store". I said, "Ok?" and she hung up.
Sherry, Sherri, you assumed the caller could read, wasn't vision impaired, and knew the store layout enough to know where the bathroom was and what you meant. People with children, elderly, or disabled might find your attitude and lack of information distressing. Visitors from out of town or another country would not understand your tone. Visitors from another area in the valley or have not yet been inside an Albertson's might find your approach lacking in compassion and callus to their needs. Hanging up on potential customers before asking if they need anything else or even thanking them is just plain rude and unprofessional. You may have done this dozens of times before and never had a complaint, well now you have one.
A simple bathroom request should not be met with annoyance.
Also, the women's bathroom is dirty, dingy, quite dark, and not easily handicap accessible even though there is a dedicated stall. The large floor cone completely blocked the pathway in the very small facilities.

Good place to go and grap a missing item or two, but find Smiths has much better produce, selections and pricing. At Albertsons, there are never enough cashiers working and long long lines to check out. If I have to do the work to cash out, then lower my grocery prices or employee more cashiers. I will never do my grocery shopping here for that reason.

If you are going to tell people with more than 15 items to use a cashier instead of self checkout, hire more people to run a register. I shouldn't be forced into a long line when self checkout is basically dead, when I'm good with bagging my own groceries. There is a Smiths and a Walmart 5 minutes further away, I'll just go there if I'm going to have more than 15 items because even with the extra drive time I'll save more time than I would spend waiting in line.

They don't have enough cashiers, super slow and they talk too much. Ever since they changed the self check out rule to 15 items it's been a nightmare! Totally hate coming here now. I literally just left all my food at the check out line because it's so bad now.

I did not know albertson's workers were doctors, me and my dad come to the store all the time.It is our neighborhood grocery store. My dad had a bad encounter with cashier named Krystal. As he was in her like he was purchasing some groceries and 2 cans of beer. It was a lady in front of him with items and a alcohol bread rich as well, Krystal did not ask for her ID. But when it came to my father she asked for ID so he pulls it out and gave it to her then she ask him to hold on a second because he looked shackie to her ask she calls the manager over by the name of sherri she told her she did not want to sale my father his beer because he looked shakie as Krystal looked my father up and down, my father asked her what do she mean by that ask the manager looked at him he held a respectful conversation with her letting her he has never had a problem like this before he ubers every week to every other week to get his groceries and the things he like out of albertson. As the manager side she can not over ride her cashier to sale him his beer but she did not even let him to to another line or self check out. I asked are yall doctors yall don't know if my dad has a shaking hand condition 🤔 like a lot off people. And I feel like racism played a part in how Krystal was acting towards my father. I said when service dog come into the store do yall card and ask for medical pappers I think not so how could u assume something was wrong with my father. As the manager was no better and did nother to help the situation. This kind off customer service is nasty and understandable standers did not like how my father was treated.

It appears that they have gathered a group of the rudest, most arrogant and non courteous employees in one place over at this particular NW Albertsons location which is located at the corner of Cheyenne and Durango in Las Vegas,NV.
I got so upset on December 18th to have encountered not one but two very rude arrogant and obnoxious cashiers on the self checkout by the names of Joanne and Jonah! These two were absolutely rude and obnoxious to the point that I had to call over the manager and demanded to file a formal complaint on these two nasty checkers. Although he did not give me a paper to fill out he assured me he will look into it and give me their names because I said "I'll make sure to go online and mention them
and this incident just in case you forget to discipline them", so here I am!
I shop there regularly, only because it's the closest Albertsons to me. I don't need to spend thousands of dollars at a place that treats me rudely, employs a bunch of big mouth, obnoxious, rude and class-less people that make me feel like a second class citizen! That is just not acceptable!
Albertsons needs to screen their service people and teach them good customer service manners, except for very very few, hardly any of these people know how to smile or greet you with politeness or answer your questions without making you feel like a burden because they are too full of themselves!
It appears they are not aware that they're there to serve us not to Attack and INSULT us and makes smart-a s s remarks to the customers!
There is also an arrogant and ornery guy who normally stocks juices and dairy products in the back of the store and never bothers to look around, always ignores his surroundings, he's great at not acknowledging you, he appears as a total sourpuss, never answers questions politely and he acts like he's too busy stocking up the shelves and doesn't even look at you while you're inquiring about something. I believe he does this intentionally so one wouldn't dare ask a question to bother his heinous! If you encountered this guy you'll know who I'm talking about.
For Christ's sakes, you are just a stock boy stocking some shelves, you are not splitting Atom to be concentrating so hard on cheese and orange juice!
I've learned my lesson not to ask this dude one any questions about Dairy products as he doesn't give a flying rat nor he would go out of his way to show you where things are, the most his Highness might do is to just point without lifting his head or looking at the direction or at you then proceeds to stocking!!! Very dedicated to stocking to the point of Rudeness to customers! Next time I go there I'll get his name off his name tag and post it here.

This is such a dumb idea. Why would you have a new 15 item limit and only open one cashier? The self checkout is empty and now you still want to complain even though I’m doing your job by ringing myself up? And at the same time you only open one line so it can back up?
