Me and my fiancé brought our kitty in this last weekend, and we weren’t sure what was wrong with her at first.. but after a long 72 hours we figured out that there was an obstruction in her intestines. Dr. Virend was SUPER awesome and informative. He sat in the room with us for 30+ minutes a few different times. He made us feel really comfortable and answered all of our questions! As well as explained everything to us in full detail to us. He even called us in the middle of the night to give us updates on our baby Chloe. We never felt rushed with him. We had worked with him 3 out of the 4 times we were there. Sara was also VERY sweet and comforting! We worked/talked with her a few times as well! 10/10 recommend bringing your fur babies here!! ? Thank you to the entire staff for helping make this unfortunate vet visit a little bit easier for us!!

We really appreciate the quality care this office gave us. Our dog experienced a terrible episode late on a Friday night. Our town had no available vet in the middle of the night. We drove 2 hours to this location. They helped us with the difficult process of putting our pet to sleep. They handled everything in a kind & professional manner. We are very grateful for all they did to get us through this difficult process. Thank you for being there.

First time calling, phone kept ringing. Once call was picked up, there was no "hello" or any professional greeting. I thought i called the wrong number. The lady asked if my dog was dead when I said my dog is having an allergic reaction. I specified what I said then I just hung up. Is this a joke?? So glad I called before bringing my dog there. Bullet dodged.

This ER is amazing! Yesterday was the second time I had go rush my puppy to. I went there in June and Dr Joel Farnsworth was such a great soul. Last night again Dr Farnsworth & Dr. Justin Cardwell took such care of her . The technician was also very nice and explained to me the two ways they could take care of my baby . Both doctors went thru blood work, X-rays and medication with such attention. They really try the best they can to help the animals in need . My babe means the world to me and I’ll be forever grateful for this place and its staff . Thank you thank you !!!

Staff is rude. They don't keep you informed of your pets condition. The doctor I dealt with made it seem as though unless I committed to a bunch of exaggerated expensive tests, my dog is going to die at that moment. They don't present you with a diagnosis they present you with an invoice, and this is the high end of treatment, and this is the low end. Not mentioning what would be best for your pet. HORRIBLE VETS AND FRONT DESK STAFF. RUN FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS SQUIRT OF PISS HOSPITAL!

Honestly I didn't expect such amazing and caring individuals especially with reading some reviews but the service I received could not have been any better. We had to bring our cat in because he had deteriorated too much to even wait till our normal vet was open. They did not try to pressure us on anything or what to do. We were taken in right away. Everyone was beyond super caring thru everything and when I asked for options for returning him they had a decent selection of choices and even choosing the best available, including their services I think the total cost was very reasonable.Actually upon receiving our kitty back, the company they work with did an amazing job with everything and was very fair cost especially after most people probably spent a bit trying to save their pet first. It was the worst experience anyone has to go thru losing anyone but these people were just super in every way.

Animal Emergency Center thank you for taking care of our Australian Shepherd at 10 PM! Heaven sent. The staff is friendly, informative and we were seen immediately. I love and appreciate a clean environment. It was a great experience and, most importantly, our dog feels much better. We are grateful you were able to help our precious girl.

Had to say goodbye to our cat late on a Saturday night. The staff was so kind and the process was startlingly quick, easy, and affordable. They let us stay with her during and after to say goodbye. It's the worst time and they made it the best it could be.

This has to be the best place to take your fur baby for an emergency hands down! I live in Arizona and drove and hour and half to take my baby Xena here because there was no other vet open and I am so grateful I went here, the amount of care and support you receive from all the staff is undoubtedly amazing. Unfortunately I had to say good bye to Xena that night but when I tell you that the staff there actually understands how hard it is to have to do that they really do. I could go on and on about this place honestly if you need to take your fur baby to get looked at definitely take them here

In December 2022, I brought my dog Buster to the vet. During Buster's diagnosis, Dr. Vriend noticed a small mass on his spleen, which was not related to the reason why I brought him in in the first place. Dr. Vriend advised me to follow up with Buster's doctor. Fast forward to the present, Buster had to have a splenectomy because the mass had almost tripled in size since 2022. The surgery was performed at his regular vet, but Buster needed aftercare, so we were advised to take him to the Animal Emergency Center. We arrived at the clinic when it first opened, and the entire staff was very welcoming. We were seen almost immediately, and the doctor who saw Buster in 2022 remembered my dog. The doctor explained in detail how Buster would be cared for while he stayed at the clinic, which made me feel comfortable knowing my dog was in good hands. Before picking up Buster, I spoke to the doctor, and he went over what we should do for Buster's care once we brought him home. When I picked up Buster, nurse Michelle went over to the home care again before leaving. I understand that it can be frustrating to wait for your pet to be seen, but I also understand that the doctor and staff want to give each pet and their parent the same care and time to take care of their pets. Buster is 12 years old, and I have had to take him here six times. Every time I come here, I receive the best care. I will recommend this ER to all parents who have a pet.

I'm so grateful for their help. They were quick, efficient, and kind. I've been to the dog ER before somewhere else and I was charged an arm and an leg. At other ER's it was about how many tests and how much money they can charge. Here they were reasonable and took care of my little pom. I appreciate a honest vet!

They saved my cat's life. The caring and talented staff treated my cat's urinary blockage on Christmas Eve. Because he had major surgery, he was kept throughout the Christmas weekend. Kali's nurse Jessica was compassionate and knowledgeable. She gave us all of our options to best care for our pet. The front desk staff and doctors were all amazing. They walked us through next steps and offered updates even as busy as they were given this was a holiday weekend, they were amazing. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Don't go to this place. What a day to spend Christmas. Drove an hour from Pahrump to get to this horrible place. Waiting from 12 nn to past 7pm and my dog is not even better. When I came in around noon they asked what the problem was I told them my dog has a torn toenail and has been bleeding. They let me fill out the form and asked me to sit down and wait. I did so obediently. But my dog is bleeding all over the floor and they could see it but didn't really care. After an hour one customer advised me to approach them to ask for help to at least do something to stop the bleeding. When I approached the receptionist she said he still can't be seen and has to wait. I asked about helping at least stop the bleeding she gave me that blank stare no compassion look and said something like she will ask from the back. When she returned she said she will take the dog but he will not be seen just taking him to the back so he doesn't bleed in the waiting area. She told me there are still 4 patients before him. So I went for a quick lunch. When I was done I called for status and she said there is now 1 patient ahead of him and that I need to be there when he is seen. I drove right away around Past 3PM and when I went there this receptionist told me he is still not being seen. So I wait. I could see that there were people who came after me that were already being seen and are out of the door in an hour. I kept my patience. After an hour of waiting they let me go into this small room that the doctor will now come and see me. No doctor came for like an eternity. And when she came in she told me the dog was examined but not treated yet and if they do surgery It will be done between 10-11 pm which means 5-6 hours more of waiting on top of the 7 hours my dog has already spent there. She let me talk to the assistant who talks about the cost plan. Which recommended I can get better care in Pahrump if I can wait the next day. WHY LET ME WAIT FOR HOURS JUST TO TELL ME THAT??? She said they didn't see my dog as a priority. Bullshit. He was bleeding nonstop for more than 5 minutes that is considered emergency than a dog who ate a chocolate who looked fine and was out the door in an hour. They let my dog bled out for 7 hours before they had to bandage him. I hear them talking to callers on the phone that the waiting time is 3-4 hours what a bunch of liars and made me wait for almost 8 before they bandage my dog and then take him home for another hour drive. If they only bandage him the moment they took him at the back that would have saved our precious time on Christmas Day. If they sticked to the 3 - 4 hour waiting time and advised us to wait the next day to the vet and send us home and not wait for almost 8 hours that is showing compassion. They let their patients wait for hours and there is not even a water station that they could offer. I asked for water from the receptionist again she gave me that no compassion look. And then came back telling me that she needs a key to get a water and the person isn't there. Seriously? That tells a lot that this facility has NO compassion to both animals and it's owners. It's ironic that it is called an emergency center yet they couldn't take care of my dog because he os not dying just bleeding. It's no excuse that there is just one doctor all the staff needs to show some joint effort and respect people's time and the long travel one has to go through. Bunch of heartless scrooges. Again. Don't go to this place.
