Anytime Fitness on Craig is a great gym to train if you want a private setting. Kristi is amazing she made anytime fitness on Craig a great experience and the culture there is so friendly.

7/23/2023: RUN, and run fast and hard away from this company. The gym I signed up at closed down. They transferred me without notification to another gym which also closed down. All of this happened within 2 months and it took me a total of 6 months to get my membership canceled. The Corporate Office finally took care of it but they did not refund me or my son the $360 they took while we had no gym to go to but they charged us anyways. Corporate Office says they have no obligation to pay us back because the gyms were individually owned. You think they would worry about their own image and pay our refund. So I say stay away if you have any choice. They are crooks.I have been a member for roughly 2 years now. The gym I signed up at is a 2 minute walk from home. They just closed down out of the blue in March 2023. They never sent a letter or notified me of anything. I contacted Anytime fitness headquarters after 1 month of unreturned phone calls. They said your membership was transferred to a gym on West Craig Road. So I called them. After leaving messages for 2 weeks again I still have not heard back from them. The headquarters office sent me an email saying we have heard back from them and they can help you when you call. They gave me the same number I have been calling all along. So basically headquarters office is saying go F yourself because I was very clear in telling them if they heard from them to please ask them to call me. The have not called me. So they contacted headquarters after getting one message per their own email but have not returned any of my calls to them after leaving messages for the last 2 weeks. For your own sanity I hope nobody buys a membership with this company ever again. They are not honorable. They claim they sent me a lettter to notify me. I never received a letter at all. Even if they did send a letter they won't call me back. So I have to now take other actions just to get a gym membership canceled. I will be calling the BBB, the prepaid card I use for the membership will be torn up now as I have drained the account so they cannot charge me anymore. These are the steps you have to follow when dealing with Anytime Fitness. It is sad really. My son had to do the same things to cancel because we both went to the gym together. So he had to drain his card and cancel the card account as well. I have never been so dismissed as a customer in my life.

Unethical practices in this company. The location they had near my house shut down out of nowhere and the next closest location is 25 minutes away (not gonna drive this distance every day). They WILL NOT let me out of the contract after numerous contacts with the gym directly and their customer support. They continue to charge and have told me I owe them $200. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THIS GYM.

I've been having issues contacting this location to cancel my membership for a little over a week. Went in person to directly cancel my membership and luckily ran into the owner Bill H. who was able to provide his direct contact and assured me that the issue would be rectified. Bill had great communication and cancelled my membership without any issues. I've cancelled gym memberships a couple times in my life and all of them have been hell. Thanks Bill for taking the time and making my life easier!

I would like to update my review-As mentioned by others, I would like to praise Kristi. As you may know, many Lake Mead members were stranded with only a day's notice (from prior management) which left Kristi to reach out, personally, one-by-ONE. I told her I was going to have surgery and needed to cancel. She got back to me, empathized with my situation, and expressed her own understandable frustrations as a manager and as a human-being in this turmoil of a process, with grace and kindness. I will be returning as a membership based solely off Kristi's mannerisms and professionalism.

Great place to work out until your membership is up and you don't want to renew it......that when you'll experience the fraudulent practice of them constantly taking money out of your banking account. Even after talking to the manager, calling leaving messages without anyone contacting you back, or them leaving you on hold for over 30 minutes and giving u the run around cause they don't want to stop collecting from your account. I'll never join another gym as long as I live. Trust me don't join this place or you'll have to cancel your card and get a new 1 just so they can't continue to rob you blind!!!

I spoke with a manager well over a month ago to cancel my membership effective immediately since I am no longer under contract. The following month my card was charged. I left many messages/emails to resolve the issue and no one called me back. I had no choice but to dispute the charge with my bank. I sent an email to ABC Fitness Solutions to stop automatic charges on my card. Now, the Anytime Fitness application states that my account is over 30 days past due due since they can no longer charge my card yet ABC Fitness Solutions sending me text messages asking to call to update my billing info since I put in the dispute with the bank and they can't help me cancel my membership since I have to contact the gym directly (WHICH I HAVE). It is unprofessional and maddening that I can't simply get a call back to resolve this matter.

Similar to the post and follow-up left by Debbie C, I was equally frustrated by the way Anytime Fitness on Lake Mead discarded its members with very little notice and dumped us onto the Craig road location gym for their management to have to address our membership. Its been nearly two months that I've been trying to cancel my membership and its not as simple as what Anytime Fitness did to inform and transfer our gym membership...one day, via email; Meanwhile, the monthly membership accumulated.Long story short, I was able to catch up with Kristi at the Craig location and after expressing my family's frustration, she professionally addressed my concerns and assured me that our memberships will be cancelled. She too expressed frustration with how the transfers were handled and was herself overloaded with the volume of members that had to be addressed. She proved to be a very nice and accommodating person and I'm hopeful that the issue is finally resolved. Thank you Kristi

I'm doing an update to my last review about a month ago. My gym closed unexpectedly and pretty much washed their hands of its members. They told us to take our concerns to the Anytime Fitness on Craig. Needless to say I was not happy with the way the owner just closed with one days notice. I wrote a horrible review of Anytime Fitness on Craig because I couldn't get a hold of management there. I have since spoken with Kristi who is the gym manager and she explained to me exactly what was going on which pretty much was as aggravating to them as it was to all of us. Kristi has made up for everything that was going on. She is a good manager that got stuck with the crappy job of dealing with members left in the dark about their club. Thanks Kristi for all your help.

Truthfully this place should change there staffing hours because no one is in this location at all. Not even on staffed hours mentioned on the recordings. Poor customer service with old reviews dating a year ago. Future members beware.
