Pretty miserable experience. Wish I’d have rented elsewhere, even if it cost a few $$$ more.Reserved online only to wait 1.5 hours in line because they only had one staff working, taking customers and cleaning the cars himself!Upon car return, they tacked on several extra fees including fuel (we returned 8/8, higher than we started 7/8!!!), making our total bill 130% of the original total agreed upon. We returned the car after 8 hours of use, too…Please seek car rentals elsewhere and briefly read the reviews before you rent.

Garbage experience. Reserved a Model 3 for our trip to las vegas. 45 minute wait in line. Surprise 500 deposit, which is fine. Then they wouldn't give it to me without 2 Major credit cards? "It's a tesla sir" (30k economy car...) So fine, just asked that put me in something midsized. Woman outright refused, told me.I only rented the Tesla because I got a deal online (their website!) and kicked me out of line to cancel my own reservation & reserve again online? Ridiculous attitude and poor customer service. 3rd time I've rented From Avis/ Budget this year and always more trouble than it's worth.

Hidden (estimated charges) with no explanation as to what for. Paid extra for the call out/breakdown/key cover service and had to wait 4.5hrs from 10pm to 2.30am, with no proper update as to what was going on!! Just kept saying they received the issue and were working on it!

Worst service ever if I could have give them 0 I would. I made reservation 4 days before and when I got there they didn't had the car for me and didn't try to help, the ruined my trip

I reserved and paid for a compact car. When I got to the rental location they told me that I have to rent a SUV instead because they ran out of compact cars. This led me to needing to pay an additional fee for a SUV rental when I reserved a compact car. They told me that they ran out of compct cars. How do you ran out of cars that were reserved.

car that was provided was not well maintained. Display screen went dead and blind spot indicator stopped working within 1 day of picking the vehicle. This is big risk after paying 1000+ dollars for the vehicle.Also no one was there at phoenix airport for acknowledgment that car was returned and on top of that they charged me 135$ for fuel even after returning the vehicle full tank. Not properly managed and i will never go with avis again

Watch your receipts and the contract that you sign. They tried to overcharge me and never asked me for options about insurance. And my abilities had to have my entire payment fixed. They also only gave me a 1/2. A tank gas when a filed a complaint. They tried to still charge me for returning it with a 1/2 a tank of gas.

This place does not even deserve a star, horrible experience and customer service reserved it online over a week before hand, showed up to wait another hour long and to end up with a car that I didnt ask for and due to them making me wait on the line, they say I was late to come in for the reservation.. do not booked cars through avis at circus circus

This place is terrible. Made a reservation and showed up to pick up the car. There was a sign that said “servicing cars” and left a number to call. I called the number and was told the staff were out on a shuttle run and there would be a 15 min wait. 90 min later I was still waiting and left. Had to pay for a second cab to go elsewhere to rent a car. The agent on the phone kept saying just wait 15 min but that it was just fine I had made the reservation the same day I wanted to car. This place is a joke. Gi somewhere else if you want to rent a car unless you don’t care how long you wait.

Unfriendly and rude staff, they only could offer damaged cars, ours was clearly involved in an accident. Their offer: take it or leave it, all our cars had accidents, so there is no change of cars for you.

Book a car. Show up. Car is unavailable. Nothing they're willing to do other than upcharge u for a luxury suv they have available they you don't need or want.Absolutely unprofessional and impolite to boot. Have a complaint or want to speak to a manager? They have that covered to - they give u a # to call that goes to a mailbox that is full. Won't use avis again. Thanks Ranisha.

Circus Circus AVIS office is absolutely the worst, as you can tell from other reviews.I originally reserved the economy car and arrived on time, only to hear that the only available car they had was an SUV and so I had to pay additional 30 USD per day. They added other AVIS locations in the city had no extra economy cars.This turned out to be not true, as my immediate search gave me bunch of other economy car options from different AVIS, only with the doubled price compared to my original reservation - of course, since I was trying to make a same-day reservation.I argued the staff should at least direct me to a different location so that I can get the car that I requested for a original price, but they only kept repeating that there are no other available cars in the city. They literally told me to pay the additional 30 USD, or I can choose to make a new reservation by paying twice as much.I ended up paying more up-front, then calling the customer service to get the refund for the additional charges. I wouldn't blame the whole company since the customer service was very helpful in clearing things out, but do NOT ever make a reservation from this location
