Originally we had booked with another company, walked several miles on the strip to get to the rental company only to find out they were closed for the day. Then we found out there was a rental company in our hotel!! The whole process was very smooth. The associate who helped us with our rental was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely use Avis again.

On December 2nd I was involved in a car wreck in Las Vegas my car wasn’t able to drive so I needed a way back home to LA I when to 2 different enterprises and they told me that I wouldn’t find a car with such a short noticed they were so rude and couldn’t help me at all , my niece looked up car rentals and found Avis at New York New York , man let me tell you Candy at the front desk got me a car in less then 15 minutes. She was so nice and respectful and understood my needs to get back home and she made it happen. I will totally recommend Avis at New York New York to anyone visiting or living in LV

Traveling with my brother who is disabled. We were able to rent a vehicle at NYNY pick up and drop off. We would not have been able to rent a car at the airport it’s a hardship. Thank you Avis for your partnership !!!

Do not use Avis to rent your car!! We booked a convertible sports car only to be told 15 mins before our pick up time that they didn’t have one available at the pick up location but they did at the airport that we would have to make our own way there to pick up!! Very unprofessional and ruined the last full day of our trip for our 40th birthday!!

Paul at the desk got us a great rate on a car to leave Vegas and go on a 4 night road trip to Zion, Grand Canyon, Sedona, and back to Vegas. We weren’t expecting a convertible Mustang but wow! Having that car was a fun experience in itself and leveled up the awesome factor of our whole trip! Ryan in the garage was a nice guy too. Only bummer is that we didn’t know we would be there would be a fee to return the car at a different Avis at the other end of the strip.

I rented the car from Avis at NYNY located on Las Vegas strip. After being on the road and driving away. I noticed that the rear wiper blade if the vehicle was missing. I tried to call in, but no answer. Left a message and hopefully will get a call back.

Planned a day trip using Avis car rental in the NY NY hotel. Pick up was smooth however when arriving at the vehicle we noticed the car was dirty, had no wiper fluid and an almost empty gas tank. In our travels that day we were pulled over by the police to find out the tabs were expired. Thankfully, no ticket. This ruined our day out. When expressing this to customer service we were offered a small discount, what a joke.

Made reservation in advance for an SUV for a day trip. Daniel from Avis called literally 15 minutes before we were scheduled to pick up to tell us that they had no car (of any kind) for us. This completely ruined our plans for the day. If you don’t have the car at least have the decency to give us notice. They said they were hoping they would locate one but were not successful. Instead of looking out for themselves they should have let us know when they saw the problem so we could have rented elsewhere. We could not get another vehicle anywhere. Horrible service. Do not use these people. Daniel acted as if it was no big deal.

Beware of the automatic refill charge! This seems to be a new game in town. The rental co.s charge you for an empty tank regardless. You have to call them to get your refund! This happened with Budget too, so Avis is not the only one playing a new Covid scam. Other than that, they were great at the desk. Gave me a bigger car than I asked for, which I didn't need but was fun anyway. So good people with a sneaky back-end policy......!

We rented a car on Christmas Eve, and the wonderful associate phoned me twice to let me know that they would be closing at noon, which I was so grateful for, as I hadn't thought of it, being on vacation. The rental desk was right next to the NYNY reception desk, and the associate gave me the keys early so I wouldn't have to think about it later. Due to supply issues, the only car available was a Toyota 4-Runner, which turned out to be wonderful for our trip to Zion and Bryce Canyon. There was lots of snow and ice between the 2 parks, and this car didn't slip once, and we didn't even need to engage the 4-wheel drive! A million thanks to the wonderful (female, redhaired) associate who took great care of us on Christmas Eve at NYNY Hotel!

What an aggravation with this rental! After returning the vehicle in excellent condition, with a full tank of gas, Avis is claiming that the tank wasn’t full and overcharging us. What a scam!Total waste of our time to deal with this topic. My advice, don’t rent from Avis.

I booked through hopper for $269.00 pay at pickup. The policy mentioned at pickup to present my credit card with the amount for the rental and a $200 hold. Once I got to the counter (12/24/21)I was charged $369.00 for the rental onto my card. She then said she was going to proceed at take an additional $400 as a hold. I then told her to stop as this did not align with the policy. So I told her to cancel as I was not planning on that and that was not stated in the policy. ($369.00 taken from card at this point but no car issued) I called a customer service agent at Avis and they could not understand why I told that. I asked him how to proceed as my money is now with Avis and I was not issued a car. He then hung the phone up on me. So my Christmas was ruined. I had $369.00 taken by Avis and denied a car. My trip was cancelled because of this! It is not Monday December 26th and I still haven't received a refund on my $369.00 that was $100.00 more than the rental amount. However I was actually denied a car. Thank you Avis! Thank you!!!
