We've been going to this animal hospital for a long time. Our beloved chihuahua, Punim, was a patient of Dr. Martinez. I highly recommend this hospital. The doctors and staff are fantastic and caring. Our telephone calls were always responded to in a timely and professional manner. We felt that the staff loved our dog like we did. Unfortunately our Punim is no longer with us and the staff has shown us true kindness and love. If we ever add another dog to our family, there is only one place we would take them. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I could not love this animal hospital anymore than I do. I wish I could give them 10 stars. Dr. Lager is literally heaven sent! The entire staff at VCA Blue Cross, from the front office ladies to the vet techs in the back, they are amazing at what they do! Relocating from out of state and trying to find a new veterinarian -- I could not have gotten luckier walking into this hospital with my fur child. Clean. Caring. Efficient.

I had to put my 17 year old yorkie Bear down. It was so devastating ..nothing can change that. However, I would like to thank the entire staff and doctors who are all amazing and compassionate. Thank you all for the wonderful care you have always given Bear❤

Thank you VCA for what you did last week! We found a baby Calico in a parking lot. Baby had just been hit by a car. THANK YOU SO MUCH VCA for administering pain meds and for helping her last few minutes be pain free! I'll never forget what you did. Thanksguy's made

This is by far the best Vet office I’ve ever been to. Front desk is great and all of the Vets are amazing. I bring my 3 dogs here for everything!

I can't even express how incredible of a doctor Dr. Wiggers-Balelo is. I wish she saw people too. Her memory, attentiveness, bedside manner, follow through are unmatched. I completely trust her with our pets lives. We have high maintenance pets and can be high maintenance ourselves, and yet she treats our family with such patience and care. We tried a different vet ONCE because it was a fast appointment and immediately regretted it. No one compares to Dr. Balelo!!

Overall I had a pretty good experience. my appointment was later in the day so I did end up having to wait 30 ish mins until the veterinarian came in but wasn't to bad. The lady's at the front desk were super nice and welcoming. I do just have to say they are pricier then other hospital vets. When I was there they let me know my cats a little spicy so they prescribed her some medicine and didn't relay to me the prices of both of those medications before adding them to my bill. So when it came to check out my bill was much higher than I anticipated it to be. If you're a new client they charge a "deposit" which does go towards your services but it's still $85+ just to schedule an appointment.

Every person that we have had the pleasure of interacting with here has gone above and beyond to make sure that we feel welcomed, supported, and informed. Pam, Jen, Selena, Pattie, Rolando, Dr. Scharf, Dr. Lager, Dr. Balelo, and everyone at VCA Blue Cross has been amazing since our very first visit. Thank you to everyone there for everything that you do.

My two Ragdoll cats have been under the care of Dr. Tack since they were 5 months old-- they are now 5 years old. His attention to details, honesty, and experience have helped my cats maintain their best health and also peace of mind on my part as a pet owner, knowing who I can ask questions and what to do. Highly recommended. One thing I wish they brought back as a service would be their cat boarding service.

I adopted my first dog in 2014 from the local shelter. I lived near this animal hospital and was immediately impressed by the bedside manner of Dr. Wiggers-Balelo. Since then, I have moved all throughout the valley, but continue to return to this hospital (even after trying other) because of the amazing care they offer. My father lost a dog to anesthesia in 1983, so I was more than apprehensive to put my 8 pound Chihuahua under for a tooth cleaning. Despite my nervousness, everyone at the hospital was patient with me and I am so happy that I went through with it. Danielle, one of the surgical techs, was patient, extremely kind and so accommodating. I will all always come back here-- thank you to Dr W and Danielle for making me feel confident that I am doing the right thing for my pet.

We followed Dr Martinez over here from another place as we really liked Dr M. But... when we really needed VCA they left us high/dry. Turns out our 1 girl had 2 bad ear infections & a ruptured eardrum. VCA couldn't be bothered to fit us in to get her seen over a multi-day period. Too busy booked up previously scheduled appointments was basically what we were told on the phone (muti-times) when trying to get our girl in for the medical attention see needed. VCA apparently has no provision within their scheduling setup that allows for clients with sick dogs to get seen... not even over multiple days. The emergency place in town had no availability for this issue when we tried them after VCA turned us away & suggested them. So off to our previous place in hopes they'd be able to help (& they did).People NEED a vet office when their pet is in distress. Pets can get routine shots done anywhere. We ended up going back to our previous veterinary care facility (where Dr Martinez had once worked) & funny thing is they cared enough to fit us in on a walk-in basis so we could get our dog the care she needed. Still can't believe VCA here had zero claimed capacity over multiple days to take care of a client's sick pet. Despite our really liking Dr Martinez we had no choice to take our pets & our money elsewhere. What good is a veterinary office if they don't have time to fit people in (walk-in or otherwise) with legit pet medical needs?
