We stopped for breakfast before checking out of the Cannery. Food was average, prices were very good. Our waitress was hilarious and deserves five stars on her own.

Service from Val was good. Food - well, the quantity was large, but I didn't care for my Chicken Mai Fun very much. Prices were good.

Stopped off for the graveyard special $4.99 Steak and eggs. Meal served with toast and hash browns. Everything was great. I've had my steak cooked medium rare and medium and no matter where I've been in the US it's had to go back cause it's been served to me bloody rare. Not here, it was excellent. I had sourdough toast and my eggs were perfectly cooked. I wasn't expecting much based on some reviews but they exceeded my expectations in service (seated immediately) and food quality and more importantly the price. I and my wife ended up here for breakfast 3x while here for the week and it was a great way to start or end the day each time and I even got to try the all you can eat biscuits and gravy which had sausage in it (some places don't). $3.99. Highly recommended based on my experiences. Didn't get to try the Chinese restaurant side but did look at the menu which had 3 pages of meals, large portions, small price

Breakfast this morning. Once our order was taken, service was fast. All items were good except for the crispy hash browns. They may have been dropped in a deep fryer with old oil. Very reasonable prices. Check your receipt. They added on an 18% auto gratuity that would have been overlooked by me usually. I would have tipped more than that if left to my own decision.

Truly, two excellent breakfasts, remarkably well priced, and a wonderful patty melt, with an extra side of cole slaw for dinner, made for two fine meals. Snaps is effectively a hybrid coffee shop, diner, and Chinese restaurant inside the Eastside Cannery Hotel and Casino. The place reminded me of the restaurants inside the Sahara Hotel in the 1950s and 1960s before everything became supersized in Vegas. The service was quick and efficient, the help was personal and the kitchen was on its toes. Way to go!

The Chinese food at the snaps cafe / cannery is soooo bad. The worst Chinese food if you can call it that. Some of my wife's family wanted to come to cannery and we happen to stop by. I'd give a negative star if possible. Stick with the cafe stuff.

We ate here twice. Once for lunch. My Mom and I want sandwiches-lunch and wanted to eat in the Chinese part of the restaurant that was open and you could view in the casino. No one was sitting in there. Most of the staff looked at as if we were odd and wondered why we wanted to eat there. The cashier lady was grouchy and two ladies said they were off the clock. James was the only friendly person. Sandwiches were good and so was the potato salad but slow. Another day, four of us came for breakfast. Service again slow and the waitress was missing table setting and put them down on our hands. Not looking what she was doing. Food was good-the Egg Benedict and Corned Beef Hash were just the right size.

The first half of the meals was fairly good. My son had the spaghetti with meatballs and said it was quite tasty and enjoyed it. The second half was my meal when I ordered the complete cashew chicken dinner. They normally start you off with some of the fried noodles in dipping sauce oh, none was served tonight. the soup that my dinner came with arrived when my dinner arrived. The soup was lukewarm it was not possible to ask to get it reheated since our server disappeared. The cashew chicken could probably have been more accurately described as celery chicken. There was so much celery on the plate that it was difficult to find much of anything else. the cashews that were in the meal look to be from the bottom of the can or jar since they were primarily small bits and pieces of cashew. The fried rice was warm but much of it was too cold to enjoy. A spring roll came with the meal oh, it worked good but also was not hot and this is an item that hot mustard dipping sauce would certainly help. The server overcharged for my meal but I figured that must have been his tip because I left none after this terrible service and 1/2 of a edible dinner. We have been going to snaps for a number of years as it is our local Hotel, Casino & Restaurant. Normally the food is good but tonight it's so failed to hit the mark I had to comment. I do hope that today's visit was only an anomaly.

Can’t fault staff ,food ,or service .Chinese specials and the monthly special are great value . Had the New York Steak and the Chicken Tenders special , very good ,only downside the eggs with my Steak were a little overdone (asked for over easy),but eggs is eggs and overall no complaints ..Be back again

Good service but the chinese food was something you would get at a food court in the mall. The egg-drop soup was good. The fried rice had no flavor and was clumpy. The sweet and sour chicken was okay with an ordinary red sauce. The chicken chow mien was dried-out noodles with a few veggies like big pieces of green onion and a couple pieces of chicken. The spring rolls were dry with no flavor. The "deli" ham and cheese sandwich was just on plain white bread with a few slices of ham and a slice of cheese. Very dry. Not impressed at all. Served with big french fries. The servers were nice and efficient.
