I hate closetbox.. If I could leave a no star I would. I had an horrible experience because I chose to use them as my moving provider. I was refer to them by a friend, who had a completely different experience to my knowledge. The movers complain the entire time as if they were told they only had to pick up two boxes ?. this stressed me out because I began to get irritated with their attitude, when moving is already a stressful situation. I am a single mother with two small children so I hired them because I needed the help that I was paying them for, but instead I felt as though I was begging a neighbor for help. They moved and stored my items then they sent me an iteniary with what I though was the final cost, then a month later they raised the price on the storage fee I agreed to pay initially. As I stated before the movers were A-hole therefore I sent them away with only a few of my items. I had 91 item which consists of mainly small boxes and other items such as lamps, silk plants, and hover board, scooters, three beds (one queen and two twin size beds).. I left behind my couches, fridge, entertainment center, Twi entire bathroom and other items because of the movers complaining and getting on my nerves. After they packed the truck I walked down to look inside and realized that the truck was half empty, but I just wanted them to leave so I ended up having to rent a separate storage unit in order to completely store the remainder of my items, only to be told they put these small amount of items into a 10 by 30 unit witch cost about $460 +... for a 3bd apt when I already ended up loosing from the initial move. I ended up disputing these charges, and may have to hire a lawyer, which will cause me to incur more charge because they’re threatening to not release my items until I agree to their new terms. I have a emailed them receipts, my initial agreement which were timed stamped with the original cost and they are still being difficult. All I know is I do not wish this on my own enemy ?...I also have a friend who rented with them, she had a different experience, she had way more items than what I stored and is only being charged $100.! They also stated to me that I would have to pay and extra charge on top of what they charging me to deliver my items out of storage, and that they only offer free pick up not delivery... negative zero stars.. they’re deceiving, money hungry, and bad for business. ??

Called main corporate line to ask questions, phone rep made it clear she was annoyed I wanted pesky details about things like pricing and contracts. Seems like a cool service but would rather overpay on my storage unit than give such a shady company my business.

Closetbox is the most economical storage you can find in the bay area! The service is also great. They pick up your items (for free), and if you add to your inventory list it's charged by the item and the price is also very reasonable (though you do have to deliver it yourself as the second pick up isn't free). All in all I am very happy I found a flexible and economical storage solution that fit my needs!
