Staff racist toward black women, literally got followed in the store, other ethnicities walked they weren’t harassed like I was. Very nasty BLACK People stay way!! Or Cosmo do better with staffing, leave the racist employees out of the store !!!

I am a licensed Esthetician ( licensed skincare). I went into theRainbow/LakeMead (Las Vegas) location to buy a hair product. The young inexperienced rude girl kept demanding if I had a license. I told her yes, even though I was shocked she was continually asking about this. I had some questions about 2 products and she got irritated and said that I should go to Sally’s next door. I said to her you’re not answering my questions. She said “you should know your own hair”. I said I’m not a hairdresser, I’m an Esthetician. I asked to talk to her manager, who was or wasn’t anywhere in site. She then blurted out “I don’t like the way you’re talking to me… I’m calling security”. This was all because she couldn’t answer my questions, besides being totally rude, condescending, inappropriate and stupid. I will never step foot in that place again. I did go next door to Sally’s and they were fabulous. Very professional, helpful and sweet. I did buy a product from them, btw

Racist treatment from male cashier rude no integrity 4/3/25 @ 4:45ish
As a licensed instructor for 25 years, I have never been greeted in such a rude, racist manner. A white woman walked in a few seconds after me, and the Caucasian boy greeted her without asking if the young girl was licensed and should be shopping there as he asked me. I'm sure nothing will be done!
Immaturity is lackadaisical; I will Spend my money away from a business such as this period.

The young girly that was working at the front desk was so sweet and amazing! She helped me pick out some skincare for my mom. Overall amazing service and I will definitely be coming back!

I now drive out of my way to avoid this cosmoprof even though it is the closest location to me. Customer service is terrible here! There’s been times I’ve called inquiring about specials/deals and the workers had no recollection about “current deals” and said they weren’t valid just for me to go to another location and find out the specials were in fact going on. Most recently I tried to return a blowdryer from here still in box with receipts and I was told they would not be able to help me and that I would have to go to the specific cosmoprof it was purchased at to do the return. Long story short I returned it with no problem to another location I did not originally buy the dryer from. It’s like they fail to take the extra step to look into things because they rather not be burdened by it. So disappointed.

I feel uncomfortable, unwelcome shopping here. I am not coming back until they have a more professional approach.They have double scanned me and sadly wouldn’t allow me to review my receipt. They get frustrated when it’s a return or exchange. Distracting me on purpose and pushing my transaction through right while I was talking and asking questions about my items. This is what made me sense there is something unethical in house going on I think that this unprofessionalism needs to be assessed. Along with their numbers!!!If a company is so worried about unlicensed/theft then they should install a ID scan system in order to enter.Swies has a door bell, grocery stores lock up lotion, walk mothers to counter when needing formulas for their baby. I don’t see why a Ring Cameras isn’t an idea, they are not expensive.Also we as professionals deserve the respect and privacy of our profit.I really hope Cosmoprof stands by its true consumers and protect us and the staff. Along with having real in-staff monitoring.

Honestly so rude and it’s giving micro aggressions. My friend who is not white was hounded by staff asking if she was a licensed stylist and followed her around. Make her “prove” her account is hers. Such disrespect to their customers. I personally (a white woman) have never been asked if I have an account/a license and I’m never followed around. Idk is the employees are racist or just stereotyping but i won’t be returning to this location

Came in the other day and the lady with glasses and short brown hair questioned me like I wasn’t supposed to be there. I let her know yes I was in the right place and she then asked “like do you have a license?” Which is really insulting because there’s a huge sign on the door that says “licensed professionals only” as if I missed it. She’s terrible and is too grown to know better.The only reason I’m not giving it 1 star is because the lady with blonde hair is really nice and has great customer service
